    • Answer I made the purchase to install in a Toshiba Satellite A505D. An easy way to find out is to download a small free program called Crystal Disk Info and then execute it. The program will identify the interface for your internal harddrive in a data block right under the device identification which is in large capital letters and numbers. If the interface is 'serial ATA', then this drive is compatible and will fit.
