    DVR Harddrive replacement

    The day before my memorial weekend camping trip my HD in my dvr decided to quit on me. Upon doing some research i seen this model was the most mentioned option. Ordered it and picked it up next day, took my 5 mins to swap it out with the old one. Plugged DVR in and it booted straight up without any extra work. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a replacement, especially if you have a samsung wisenet dvr!!!! Easily replaced the 2TB Greenpower Western Digital that it originally came with!!!

    Hard drive

    It's a hard drive. It's really hard and it drivers your data on platters . What more do you need to know . I put this in my dream machine for the camera DVR side

    Replacement Hard Drive

    This internal hard drive was purchased to replace the bad H/D in my security DVR. I didn't have any issues with the formatting or the installation and now the DVR is quite and recording my home security.

    Runs silently and works

    I had this HDD added to a new PC purchased in December 2024. I just picked up the first 4TB drive I saw on the shelf at Best Buy. It runs silently and seems pretty quick to access the files that I do have stored on it. Running a disk utility shows it to be 'only' 5400 rpm. I had sort of expected a higher rpm rate, but admit that I also like the quieter and less power hungry attributes of a slower spin rate. I have owned dozens of computers in the last 35 years and so far have never had a HDD fail on me, so I expect many years of service from this one. Bear in mind that the first HDD I bought was a 40MB (mega, not giga!) one for $600 in 1986 dollars, so the price per unit storage has dropped by several orders of magnitude.
