“Will this work with a Toshiba satellite L305”

• I made the purchase to install in a Toshiba Satellite A505D. An easy way to find out is to download a small free program called Crystal Disk Info and then execute it. The program will identify the interface for your internal harddrive in a data block right under the device identification which is in large capital letters and numbers. If the interface is 'serial ATA', then this drive is compatible and will fit.

• Pick one up at Best Buy and if it doesn't fit, take it back. They have a help desk in the stores and they would probably be able to tell you. Just to be sure, bring the computer with you. :-)
