Posted .We're thrilled to hear how pleased you are with your Opal ice maker. We did want to clarify, the water is added manually per the easy to follow instructions. This unit can't be connected to a permanent water supply.

Ive had it for a little over a year, coincidentally when the warrenty expires, and it just crapped out completely. GE wants to charge me $120 just for them to come out and look at it, not including whatever they have to do to it. Do not buy this.

It does exactly what it says it does and its amazing at it! The nugget ice is the best ice! Yes it is expensive but its well worth the money! Ive gone thru 2 cheaper ice makers and none have lasted more then 1 year! Ive not had one problem with this ice maker! The app could be updated a little

We just upgraded to this one after having our original for 3 years. The gallon size water tank is a game changer for us! Not only do.our kids love this ive machine but our dog and cat come running everytime they hear the door open. They also love getting a few frozen easy to chew treats.

The machine was very easy to setup for the first time and kept up making ice for the first party we had with family! We are very happy with the purchase and only regret not buying it sooner!

It helps with a hard water stains..

My kids love the ice size and its great when you go through allot of ice like we do in arizona. Ice does melt fast because of the size but i like it. I have one in my house and one in our vacation home

The nugget ice is a great size and the ice doesn’t get too wet and slushy-like. The process to clean can be a bit difficult if you don’t set this up by the sink, but it’s worth it!
