This thing is fast, I mean blazing fast, I backed up 1TB of data in 20-30 minutes. We simultaneously stream 4K video to multiple smart devices from this device, and if any bottle-necking occurs this SSD has nothing to do with it. The downside is, it feels as hot as a kitchen stovetop during read/write processes. I’m not sure a device reaching these high temperatures is sustainable; so that remains to be seen. For the time being, I’m happy with my purchase.
