And the device is pretty secure, with the software and password. I would honestly buy more of these they are worth it.

Samsung T5 - Awesome super small 2TB SSD Drives

I have combined a number of small 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB hard drives into one. And another I use for a computer backup. And another for storing backups of all my photos. They are far faster and way more lite weight than a congenital portable hard drive. This has been great not weighing down my backpack. Also they come with a usb c to usb c and a usb c to usb a cable. So I can hook to a new laptop as well as older computers. They are ja out 1/3 to 1/2 the size of a conventional pocket hard drive also.

Great Grab & Go Video/Photo Storage

Our video guys are recording 4K content and they will actually do fast edits off of these drives (more involved edits are done off of our NAS), and love being able to dump the contents of their SD cards on these from a laptop. If you're looking for quality, speed, and portability, these are hard to beat.

incredibly small footprint and large volume

Worth every penny!!!

It’s a tough little thing that works fast and works well for what I need. You won’t be disappointed buying one of these!

This is my 4th drive I've purchased of this model. (And I've purchased 2 additional ones for other people...6 total.) I've had these Samsung "T" series drives for years now. I use them with a Mac, and they work very well. Super fast, super portable. What more could you ask for! Also, pro tip for the Mac users, re-format the drive completely when you get it. This method has worked for me for years with these and I haven't had any issues. Can't recommend these drives enough.

It does get quiet warm, but i haven't had any issues with it. Bought a silicon sleeve for it for handling

My son needed more storage for games on his laptop. This SSD is an excllent choice. Speed is good, not bulky, it is very user friendly-just plug it in. And lots of storage. Just what he needed.

Quick to setup straight out of the box and very quick with downloading and storing precious information. The only downside is have to say about this product is that it is on the expensive side compared to the competitors out there although Samsung is a fairly well known brand it is worth investing in a quality product if you have the funds.

The T5 stay cool and still very fast. Using for Xbox and PS5 and it’s faster than the internal SSD. Save money and just buy the T5 over the T7. Had a Sandisk and it was very hot or warm all the time so I returned it. T5’s are known to last. Bought the 2Tb Samsung T5’s for $200 on Black Friday.
