Great hard drive. Small, light and fast access to my files.

Bought this specifically for one thing, gaming. 2 TB is good enough to accommodate most of the games I played from Steam, Epic and GOG. It works great, connected to my laptop via USB C, so loading is quite fast. It does get hot at times, but I really don't play more than 2 hours per day or maybe 4 hours on a weekend. Take advantage specially if there is an occasional sale or price drop.

Tiny, quick, with two cables for different USB compatibility, What’s not to like. My new computer uses the cable with the latest USB which is incredibly fast, my older computer uses the cable for the older USB and while not as fast it is still better than the traditional mechanical hard drives. I may be back for another.

A sturdy workhorse. Very low chance of getting your files corrupted or error signs because of the SSD format. I'm a professional photographer so backing up my photos has to be a fool-proof scenario - I always use these. They're pricier than other externals, but I don't like to take chances with those.

This is my second Samsung T5 drive (purchased my first many years ago) and one of many Samsung portable (including the T7s) and internal SSDs I own. The drives have been reliable, are fast and work as intended. While I prefer the slimmer design of the T7, this drive is used as a backup and I did not see a need to pay extra for the form factor or faster USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection. Works as intended and happy with the drive. Only deducted a star because it uses different software vs. the newer T7 so I have to have both versions installed on my machines.

Perfect external storage solution for my black magic pocket cinema camera 4k recording in BRAW. Even better when you can purchase this item on sale or at a higher capacity (e.g. 2 TB)

This external hard drive has quite literally become my gaming library. I've put most of my Steam library on it because I'm not playing those games, and still have room for more. Thanks to it, I don't have to worry about memory space on my regular computer.

I love this. I have multiple of these and they are so easy to use, fits into spaces because of the size and they back up a lot before being full.

I love these drives. I've got 3 of them and I haven't had a problem yet. Good speed, obviously super quiet, tiny footprint. It's my favorite of the portable SSDs I've tried.
