Love this router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was very easy to set up and the Tehter app is awesome, you can log directly into the router from the app to adjust your channel frequencies, which i needed to do for my surreond sound. Overall I’m very happy with this router.

Great router with great throughput and range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Lynksys router that had extreme output and was also MU-MIMO, but I have high tech home and I am always adding more tech. So, I needed something that has great output and can handle more connections, like WIFI 6 can do. I also needed 8 Ethernet ports for all of the hubs. I also have about 28 connected devices like Apple TV, Rohu, 4 TV's, game console, Hue lights, cell phones, computers, iPads, etc. This things cranks out great speed. I am limited by my service at 400 mbs, These same speeds are throughout my first floor and reaching 200 on the second fl of a 3000 sq ft home. No lag, no buffering on any streaming device. I don't need a WIFI extender as well. This is my first TP-Link since I has ASUS and Linksys before. The ratings are quite high in comparison tests and they are accurate. This is easy to use and setup as well. I could not find a mesh system with that many Ethernet ports. That is why I am using this great router.

Great features, instant speed boost.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router to upgrade my home network. I had good experience with my TP Link Archer C7, which now serves as a WiFi extender. Set up was easy - I used the tether app mostly. Love the built in speed test, parental controls and security features. Instantly saw a jump in speeds over the C7 from 250 mbps to 350. It’s a big router but it fits on the shelf where my old router sat. It’s only been a day but I’m feeling good about the upgrade.

Fast on wifi6
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On a wifi6 device I got the same speed as wiring it directly. I came from a n600 so this was a huge upgrade. So non wifi6 devices did see a boost also but again I upgraded from n600.

No more lag
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router speed and coverage are great in my 1400 square feet home. Setup and instructions were great. Like the mesh capabilities. Works well with same brand wifi extender. Overall pleased with purchase and the price was right.

Easy install, powerful
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had limited reception in my 2000 sq ft ranch style home. I lived with it for a couple of years and made it work. Devices worked smoothly near the router. Times are different and I needed stronger signal everywhere. This arrived. I downloaded the phone app and had it working in minutes. Took a few more minutes to sign-in to different devices with new network. Holy smokes. I had no idea what I was missing. Everything ran fast everywhere. I thought some of my devices were slow, but it was the wifi. This is how it is supposed to work. Very happy. Best part, the app from my phone lets me see current and recent use of all devices - good to know what my kids are up to at night...

Happy with purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had for a month now, no issues. Was easy to setup. Needed it to hardwire several accessories upstairs and needed updated router as old one was 15+ years old. Also setup with switch I put downstairs so I could hardwire more accessories. Works great with 2 people working from home, camera system, gaming system, smart tv's, etc.

Solid router
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router when it first came out, and to be honest it was a little flakey. Certain devices couldn't connect, mostly older 802.11b devices. Some would drop wifi connections for no reason. However, the firmware upgrades over the ensuing months have fixed all that and I now have a rock solid router. With my old router I had to run an Ethernet cable to get my Apple TV 4K to actually stream 4k content, but now I can do it wirelessly with this router. Solid streams, no dropouts, it keeps up with my Gigabit Internet really well. Consistently ~300 Mbps with local streams. My house is old (built in 1953) so the walls/insulation are not the greatest, but this thing shoots signals through three walls and into the back yard with ease. I don't have a zillion IOT devices and usually have ~20 things connected at any given time (TV, Apple TV, light bulbs, mobile devices, etc.) and haven't had a problem in months. If you get this router, update the firmware immediately and you should be good to go. Other plusses: * 8 ethernet ports (that's a lot!) * excellent web-based config with lots of options, but basic options up-front for simple setup * cool little mobile app you can use for setup * both USB type A and C ports for mounting media Minuses: * it's physically big * web config app not compatible with Safari. What?!?

Q: QuestionCan this router be used with ATT U verse supplied modem/routes (BGW210) to increase range?
Asked by rem.
- A:Answer Yes - ideally you would want to set your AT&T U-Verse gateway in bridge (modem only) mode, then configure the AX6000 as your primary router for best results. Regards, TP-Link Support

Q: QuestionWill this work with Verizon Fios?
Asked by viperpenn.
- A:Answer I use with frontier fios. You will need a network network cable not coaxial to hook up. Depending on your subscription and wiring options it may require additional work. I have internet only, no tv. Your service may have coaxial running to your router, that may need changed if you are replacing verizon router with this.
