A: Hi Bruce, Fear not - this receiver is more than well-equipped to drive your Cornwall IVs without fuss. I shall explain. Klipsch claim the Cornwall IVs can handle 100 watts continuously. That is quite different from the minimum wattage requirement rating, which they do not list. https://d2um2qdswy1tb0.cloudfront.net/product-specsheets/Cornwall-2019-Spec-Sheet-v03.pdf The reason they do not list this is in part down to the fact that the sensitivity rating of the Cornwall IVs is a jaw-dropping 102 dB. This means your speakers require only 2-5 watts (depending on the source being used and the information it is delivering) to go very loud. Loud enough to do eventual permanent hearing damage. A sound pressure level of 96 dB is where the risk of permanent hearing damage can be expected. Klipsch are famous for manufacturing speakers which are very sensitive. This is why speakers such as your Cornwalls are so popular with people who have expensive low-wattage (usually less than 15 watts/channel) single-ended 300B tube amplifiers. Of course this begs the question 'Why would they talk about 100 watts if these speakers only need a few watts to cause eventual hearing issues?' That depends on where they are being used. Your Cornwall IVs are very large with a wide dispersion. This means they can be used in very large, stately rooms, and even in large halls.
A: What ive found out is they might be out of stock in store but will have it in their facility or pull from another store.
Q: In a 5.1 setup, how many watts rms are delivered to the 2 front main speakers?
A: With more than 2 channels driven, you will get 85-90 w/channel so when using 5.1 or 7.1 or any atmos configuration for that matter. Marantz has a 70% rule they apply to all their amps. So take the advertised power ranking 125 watts and multiply that by 70% you get 87.6 root mean square
Q: Can you briefly explain how this , an audio receiver can upscale 4k and 8k video signals? Thanks!
A: Well it's not just an audio receiver, but an audio AND video receiver. You can and should route all video inputs through this. I don't have an 8k TV so can't tell you about the end result, but I imagine it works as the initial 4K upscaling did before becoming the standard
Q: Will this unit work with 4 ohm speakers?
A: Hi Joey, Yes - the SR7015 is designed to handle 4 ohm loads.
Q: Can you connect regular speaker wire to the back of this unit?
A: This receiver is equipped with binding posts. Allowing you to use either bare speaker wire, spades, or banana plugs.
A: No cooling fans on this unit. Although I do run an external in rack fan directly above it.
