A:AnswerI own the same modem and have cox internet. I initially had problems with the provider not switching my service from 300mbps to gigablast. After contacting cox I was able to correct the problem and now routinely get 900 plus mbps speeds.

A:AnswerDifferent Wi-Fi chips can sometimes be incompatible with some modems/routers. You can get a different usb connectable Wi-Fi adapter that might work with both of them. If it does not work you can take the usb adapter back after testing.
