I read you can only use port 1 for ethernet. The other ones are there for future upgrades.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use both Ethernet ports at the same time as long as your provider allows multiple IP addresses on your connection. Some do and some don’t. But when I was testing I had my firewall on port 1 and a laptop on port 2. Both worked great. If you plug a laptop in directly make sure you have a firewall on. You are directly connected to the internet with no protection.
