• A:Answer Spectrum customers (only): Activation of new SB8200 devices is temporarily not supported on the Spectrum network. You can instead opt for SB6190 or SB6183 that would provide support for speed tiers of upto 400 Mbps with Spectrum’s service

• A:Answer No, it does not. Very few modems offer Voice support, and the few I've seen that do tend to be very expensive. If you have to have VOIP as part of your package, you may be stuck with renting equipment from the ISP, which is always an expensive proposition over time. I get VOIP service from NetTalk, which provides a small accessory that you just plug into an Ethernet port on the router or a switch. That way I'm free to select the modem of my choice.

Q: QuestionI currently have two networks at my home (Home Security and Home Media) as I do not want traffic on one disrupting the other network. I see this product has two ethernet connections ...can I connect two routers ...and then both have internet access?

• A:Answer Comcast disables the second port with there file they send to this. You would have to pay extra for basically "another modem" fee to comcast for the second port, it will get assigned a different external ip address. You could buy a switch and hook it to the main port, then hook your two separate routers into the switch. That should do what your looking for, but you will still only have one external ip.

Q: QuestionWill this work with AT&T internet and Eero? I currently rent Router from AT&T. I purchased the 3 station Eero Wi-Fi system because I am tired of slow internet in my home thinking that would speed things up. Hasn’t done that and looking for solution.

• A:Answer Probably not. At&t usually sells DSL, U-Verse, or Fiber. This is a Cable Modem. It connects via a Coax cable (thick black wire with twisting nut to tighten) that typifies cable service. Normally At&t modems have an RJ11 phone jack for their uplink to DSL. Unless you are in a position to get Fiber service from At&t, go with the cable internet company in your area for raw speed. At&t has been rebranding slow DSL which confuses consumers. In some areas they can only offer 1Mbs instead of the 70Mbs the cable company sells for around the same price. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer Yes, that’s what I have. I had to call the Arris number and once it was up and working it quit. So I had to call Comcast or Xfinity or whatever they are calling themselves now, and give them all the numbers and register it to my account. Once that was taken care of it worked fine.

• A:Answer Mine doesn't either on my Xfinity connection. Xfinity still uses DOCSIS 3.0 for upstream since it's not needed to carry their lower upstream speeds, so no blue light. Blue light designates DOCSIS 3.1.
