QuestionAm I able to completly disabled the invasive tracking of Alexa and still control the volume and such of the Bose Sound Touch 3000 ?

- Answer Hello, and thanks for taking the time to ask a question about the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar! The Alexa part of this system is entirely optional, and is an option you can set up should you want to do so. You can still control the system with the remote control or SoundTouch app without this. In order to use the Voice-commands with this system, this does need to be setup on Alexa, and have the features enabled to allow you to do this. We hope this answers your question!

- Answer Unfortunately the sound bar does not feature an aux input, You can connect your Alexa dot via bluetooth,

QuestionMy TV is mounted on the wall, I want to mount the ST 300 below it. What should be the minimum gap between the Bottom of the TV & the top of the soundbar be. & being so close to wall, does it effect the sound coming from the back of the bar

- Answer Hi, thank you for your question! There is no specific distance needed between the bottom of the TV and the SoundBar. These systems were designed to be wall mounted so there will be no issues with connecting directly onto the wall with no gap behind.

- Answer Hello, Greg. This is a great question, and we're glad to help. The SoundTouch 300 soundbar currently supports up to 2 bass modules, and one pair of surround speakers. The system supports the new Acoustimass 500 and Acoustimass 700, the Acoustimass 300 bass module, the Bose Surround Speakers, and the Virtually Invisible 300 speakers. QuestionHello I bought the Bose st 300 and Apple TV 4k. I have the Apple TV plug into the Bose hdmi in direct and the arc to the tv. Does this setup give me the best picture and sound or should I connect the Apple TV directly to my tv and than the arc to the Bose

QuestionI want to confirm that the 38.5" is an overall dimension for the 300 soundbar since my tv stand has only a 39 1/8" clear space for the soundbar. Thanks

- Answer Yes it has an integrated amplifier inside. Interfaces are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi NFC and built in decoders.

QuestionI already set up my bose through wifi and Bluetooth and it was successful but reading the specs says that it has built in wifi. What is the use of the built in wifi? Can I use pandora without my phone ? Im confused

- Answer You can play all of the apps like Pandora or Amazon music plus internet radio using your phone. But you can do much more such as adjust the volume of the sound bar or the Surround speakers. It is also used to update the software of the soundbar which is important to make everything work right that was complained about on the blogs and reviews. I use the bluetooth only to play the songs on my phone (and of course to connect all of the speakers) Hope this helps.

QuestionI have a OLED65C7P TV. How do I connect the Bose 300 soundbar via HDMI is all 4 HDMI ports ore Inputs? I have to use the digital optical out? The digital optical is not as good as HDMI in terms of sound capability is it?

- Answer Hi I saw you are needing some help and wanted you to know the answer to your question is HDMI ARC support. find the HDMI ARC in your HDMI section l. Then run one cable from that to your Sound system and then replace the one that you were using and plug it into the soundtouch. I do YouTube and I did a complete setup video with Arc support however it's on the Samsung qled TV even though that's not the TV you have it's the same basis. here's the link. https://youtu.be/x2bky7RswF0 this might help you just pay attention to the setup and settings and try to find the arc settings in your LG TV. after watching let me know if there's any other questions but to clarify Arc support means one HDMI cable will hook up all four ports of sound as long as your TV has Arc support you just have to turn it on in your TV CEC HDMI. And you won't lose one of your HDMI hookups because you can put that HDMI in your sound bar in the end slot it will then be able to run sound and picture back and forth it's easy to go to watch the video cuz there's lots of stuff you need to do with the app and so on and so forth but let me know.

- Answer We have it in a smaller 30 x 15 room without the sub speaker and it sounds wonderful. The great thing is the claratary now being able to hear dialogue.

- Answer You may want to consider trying out the Insignia Digital to Analog connector Model 4226000 (cost is $29.99) . My husband thought that our 2015 TV wasn't compatible with the Bose soundbar so I went to Best Buy and the salesman recommended this connector. As it turns out my husband didn't see the "Optical" input on the back of our TV. Using the thin QRT connector that came with the soundbar I connected the TV to the soundbar and the soundbar worked.

QuestionWhile I would love to purchase both the soundbar and the bass I think I may have to wait due to budget. Will the soundbar sound just as fabulous on it's own until I can add other components like the Acoustimass 300 bass and rear speakers in the future?

The connection labeled "acoustimass" is used for a wired connection to our Acoustimass 300 bass module only, this secondary option can be used in certain environments where electronic interference may be present or a customer prefers a completely wired system. QuestionCan this center channel speaker be run via a receiver, or is it designed to hook only directly to the television and other components?

- Answer The bose soundtouch unit has connections for Bluetooth, Optical and HDMI port. If the receiver or any of your devices have any of these options for connectivity then it should work accordingly. The wireless remote has source buttons (with picutres for receiver as well) you can select to transfer from each connection mode, affording the opportunity to be connected to multiple sources. I currently use it to play directly from the tv, my mobile phone, laptop, and ipad. Hard wire and/ or Bluetooth... You can't go wrong.

QuestionIf I am watching TV late at night and want to wear my Bluetooth headphones (bose) instead of using the soundbar - Can I cut the audio from the soundbar and have it just go through my headphones ? Basically using it as a bluetooth transmitter ?
