A:AnswerMy sound bar is about 12’ and works fine. If you leave it in the standby mode, it will come on when the source comes on. Make sure the front of sound bar is not obstructed by something.
A:AnswerThe tv volume level means nothing once you use the sound bar. The tv now puts out a fixed sound level and the tv volume will not change it. The 19 level is where I use my sound bar, but that is the only level that your sound is controlled by, once you install the sound bar.

A:AnswerI could not return it as UPS in my state except only the air return label (battery HAZMAT sticker on the box). Best Buy provided only ground return stickers, and after several phone conversations with agents, they failed to provide a proper return label. My impression was that they were waiting for the return period to expire, which did at the end. I had to call VISA to get my money back.
Very disappointing experience with BestBuy.

A:AnswerThis is what the remote looks like. When I have it hooked up to my tv in Bluetooth mode I can just use my tv remote to control the volume. So I think any remote could work as long as blue tooth is involved.
A:AnswerOur JBL Bar 5.1 has a center speaker beside the two surround speakers. The main soundbar consists of 3 drivers aside from the detachable speakers. Our JBL 2.1 only has a left and right channel.
