“What is the maximum range for the remote control to sound bar? My couch is about 20 feet from the tv/bar and the remote does not operate the bar. If I am 6 feet or less it seems to work.”

My sound bar is about 12’ and works fine. If you leave it in the standby mode, it will come on when the source comes on. Make sure the front of sound bar is not obstructed by something.

You might also want to install a new set of batteries for the remote. If all fails try to reset your unit and after the reset try if the remote will work. Press and hold the Source, Vol+ and Vol- buttons at the same time until you see the text "reset" on the soundbar's display.
