Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the JBL Bar 5.1 is connected to your TV via HDMI ARC, the default source will always be set to your TV when you turn it on using your TV remote.

Please try again later.You need to connect it to the hdmi arc connection on your tv and the soundbar then go into the settings on the tv it should detect the soundbar thru the arc connection on the tv. Set the audio output to that connection. IE I have a Samsung tv it detects the bar as av reciever. Once I set it to that the tv will turn on and off the soundbar and volume up and down with the tv remote.
