QuestionDoes this player support Dolby Atmos? I'm using a Yamaha RX-V583 home theater and a Sony UBP-800 right now, but I'm reading the Panasonic with Dolby Vision support is the better player, but I dont want to lose my Dolby Atmos support. Thanks!

- Answer Both dvd's and blu ray discs look really good on this player.I have been amazed at how good the picture is. I also have the OPPO-203 and the Panasonic has a better picture.So yes it does upscale both dvd and blu ray.

QuestionI own the Sony Ubp X700. With certain discs it keeps freezing. Did some research on online forums. The Sony players seem to freeze with certain 4k discs when switching layers. (double layered discs that are huge or long) Does this have freezing issues?

- Answer Same happens to me. I’ve had issues with Batman, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and others. Some say it has to do with Bd-100 discs. Transitioning to different layers on the disc seems to freeze it up. Though I’ve also had freezing with Fast and Furious 5 and 6 and I think those are BD-66. Those movies have two different cuts on the same disc though so I’m sure it’s still a layer change issue.
