Stunning, pricey but worth it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Display is gorgeous. Love the design, super clean, solid improvement over previous 49 inch models. Cables are routed into the stand, you won't see any cables. LED lighting is present but it is not too much, at night time it adds a subtle glow if near a wall. I ended up mounting this monitor to the wall since my previous desk arm (Ergotron HX) could not hold it properly. During games I definitely saw a difference between this and my previous CHG90 144hz. HDR looks fantastic, I didn't see any flickering at 240hz but I can't comment too much on games since I use this monitor mostly for productivity. Make sure you have a powerful enough PC to take full advantage of this monitor.

One of my favorite things in life....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this monitor. It is worth every single penny, do not even hesitate, just buy it. It should last you until the year 2030, easily. It's a dream come true, it is impressive, it makes me smile. I don't even play games... I just use it to see all of my stocks and trade windows, and just love, love, love it. I'm not even using it at 240hz, I'm using it with an older Geforce 1080ti graphics card on a VR laptop. I have none of the reported issues with the first batch, knock on wood.

Screen leaking is TRUE!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed about this product for several reasons: * Nvidia G-Sync Compatible with NO drivers available at launch for the product, and still a month into the launch on the Nvidia site still says it’ll be compatible on the “Upcoming Driver” * Adaptive Sync Still Causes Several issues with flickering screen * Backlight Bleeding is very present leaking out of the edge of the monitor, the monitor is not adhering properly to the frame of the display. Monitor was manufactured in June 2020

Beautiful display, But!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a beautiful display. But the display I got had a defected seal around the display and there was a 1 inch slit between the display and bezel that had light bleed. I returned the display and now there is no date on it would be resold in best buy. For the price of this display, it should be perfect.

Light bleed from bezel and dead pixels
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My unit arrived with light bleed in the upper left, like others reported online. It isn't terrible or distracting since for me. There are a small cluster of dead pixels in the center top, these are not visible unless I have a bright white background, which is not often. I experienced dizziness and some neck strain when I first started using this, but I think I just needed to adjust my physical habits and distance to the screen. It was fine after a week of only occasional use. Gaming (FPS) is fine, since my focus doesn't change from the center very often. GTA still makes me a bit dizzy when driving. I bought this to "future proof" myself and to get into sync with upcoming GPU releases. My current 980ti is unable to drive beyond 120Hz.

Great monitor with minor bugs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this monitor for work. I am a professional shout caster for a major videogame company and need to see more than just the game while performing. The real estate offered by this monitor is unmatched at a 144hz refresh rate. The colors are crisp it has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a monitor at this price. My only issues are with the bugs. When the monitor returns from sleep mode the screen is very dark. I have to use CTRL ALT DEL to bring up the task manager in order to return to the proper light levels. Other than that it's a fantastic monitor.

Perfect for the ultimate gamer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Look no further for a gaming monitor that outperforms and attracts more attention than your PC itself. When friends or family see this thing for the first time all I hear is “oh wow!” and “holy sxxx!”. Not only is this 49” of widescreen view, it is also crystal clear. You won’t see colors pop like this on your 4K tv. If you want to play games at their best quality, I suggest this beast of a gaming monitor. It even has direct audio for headphones or external speakers, although I just use the PC audio output so don’t ask me about audio. This is visually the best gaming monitor that anyone I know has, and it is mine. Worth every penny.

Most advanced monitor on the market
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having the most advanced monitor on the market comes with some draw backs. It works great and looks great but I get some bugs, clicking here and there when I have HDR on, and weird flickering at certain refresh rates but only on certain hardware. Overall it’s good and I would recommend it especially since Best Buy price matched Amazon’s cost but I do spend time waiting for driver updates because it currently cannot achieve 240hz with a 30 series nvidia card. It’s a known bug but that’s on nvidia, or so the release notes say. I also spend time reading on firmware and other user experiences and bugs because I am a little concerned this expensive monitor won’t last me the full 5+ years I’m planning on getting out of it. Like I said it’s a chance you take when get something bleeding edge sometimes. It shouldn’t be like that but tis the times and Samsung had QC issues that have been supposedly resolved. I did buy in september and still got a may 2020 model. Supposedly the issues are resolved after august 2020 models and the new 7T “business” model that apparently doesn’t have the light in the back that no one will ever use or see. Get it if you can afford it and hopefully u get a working model like I did on the 1st or 2nd attempt. Don’t get it if you saved for a really long time and need something 100% the first time.

Q: QuestionI just pre ordered this monitor and I will need a Vesa Mount, do you have one that will work for this monitor? If not, do you know where I might find one?
Asked by Lawrence.
- A:Answer TRUST ME, IGNORE ALL PREVIOUS ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION AS NEW INFORMATION HAS COME TO LIGHT. CONTINUE READING Unfortunately, at the moment there are no articulating arm stands which will support this monitor; even the Ergotron HX can't do it. Although the weight itself is lower than the stand requires, the extreme curvature shifts the center of gravity to the point where the tilt mechanism fails and the monitor points down. Humanscale is looking to add a piece that will fix this for their M10 monitor stand, but Ergotron does not have a solution for the G9 at the moment. Please refrain from buying an arm stand at the moment, or return it if you already have bought one as several users have confirmed that the Ergotron and Humanscale stands (the two most heavy duty stands you can buy at the moment) do NOT support the g9. Q: QuestionWhen will be available to order online since it say sold out?
Asked by moxiemoxie.
- A:Answer As an employee of Best Buy, and having mine on backorder, i wish we could say. Anyone who says that they know is just not correct unfortunately. Samsung hasn't even released this information to the stores, let alone to the consumers. It sucks, but we have to deal with it.

Q: QuestionHow can I place a pre-order?
Asked by rocket71.
- A:Answer Stand on a toilet to hang a picture and slip and fall. You will bump your head but when you come to you will have a vision of an item called the Flux-Capacitor which is what makes time travel possible. Time Travel is required to go back in time to pre-order when the pre-order window was open...
Answered by RealMovieReviews
Q: QuestionWhy isn't there an option to pre-order?
Asked by Brian.
- A:Answer There was an option for Pre-Order that was available a little while back. Unfortunately the Pre-Order button was hit so much they did a Law and Order Special Victim's Unit episode about it and had to move it to protective custody. It will never be hit again... hopefully...

Q: QuestionDoes this monitor have back lighting? It almost looks like behind the monitor stand has a blue LED ring.
Asked by espiritiv.
- A:Answer It doesn't have "back lighting" per se' but it is safe to assume that Samsung loved this monitor so much that it did indeed put a ring on it.

Q: QuestionDoes it come with KVM integrated to share 2 computers into this monitor? one MAC and Windows that share the same Keyboard and Mouse?
Asked by LeDogge.
- A:Answer It doesn't have kvm built in but it does have picture by picture so can display from two different inputs and you can buy a separate kvm switch for your keyboard and mouse
Answered by Maikeru
Q: QuestionWhat’s the input lag, very important.
