TRUST ME, IGNORE ALL PREVIOUS ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION AS NEW INFORMATION HAS COME TO LIGHT. CONTINUE READING Unfortunately, at the moment there are no articulating arm stands which will support this monitor; even the Ergotron HX can't do it. Although the weight itself is lower than the stand requires, the extreme curvature shifts the center of gravity to the point where the tilt mechanism fails and the monitor points down. Humanscale is looking to add a piece that will fix this for their M10 monitor stand, but Ergotron does not have a solution for the G9 at the moment. Please refrain from buying an arm stand at the moment, or return it if you already have bought one as several users have confirmed that the Ergotron and Humanscale stands (the two most heavy duty stands you can buy at the moment) do NOT support the g9. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ergotron now sells the HX mount with heavy duty adapter included. The adapter was designed specifically for the G9, though it works for any monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the CRG9 and decided to VESA mount it. The G9 has very similar specs to the CRG9, and the arm I found on Amazon worked very well. I would recommend a full articulating arm desk mount. The cost was around 100 dollars, however it was worth it. If you do decide to go with an arm mount, make sure to mount it off-center from your desk. This will allow the monitor to sit in the center when flush near the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I preordered the G9 last week and started researching VESA mounts. I stumbled onto a nice YouTube video and found the one for me. For the price (and weight) of this monitor - I decided to order the Ergotron HX monitor arm. Not a cheap mount (almost $300), but considering this is an expensive monitor, be careful with the cheaper arms.
