QuestionI just pre ordered this monitor and I will need a Vesa Mount, do you have one that will work for this monitor? If not, do you know where I might find one?

- Answer TRUST ME, IGNORE ALL PREVIOUS ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION AS NEW INFORMATION HAS COME TO LIGHT. CONTINUE READING Unfortunately, at the moment there are no articulating arm stands which will support this monitor; even the Ergotron HX can't do it. Although the weight itself is lower than the stand requires, the extreme curvature shifts the center of gravity to the point where the tilt mechanism fails and the monitor points down. Humanscale is looking to add a piece that will fix this for their M10 monitor stand, but Ergotron does not have a solution for the G9 at the moment. Please refrain from buying an arm stand at the moment, or return it if you already have bought one as several users have confirmed that the Ergotron and Humanscale stands (the two most heavy duty stands you can buy at the moment) do NOT support the g9. - Answer As an employee of Best Buy, and having mine on backorder, i wish we could say. Anyone who says that they know is just not correct unfortunately. Samsung hasn't even released this information to the stores, let alone to the consumers. It sucks, but we have to deal with it.

- Answer There was an option for Pre-Order that was available a little while back. Unfortunately the Pre-Order button was hit so much they did a Law and Order Special Victim's Unit episode about it and had to move it to protective custody. It will never be hit again... hopefully...

- Answer It doesn't have "back lighting" per se' but it is safe to assume that Samsung loved this monitor so much that it did indeed put a ring on it.

- Answer It doesn't have kvm built in but it does have picture by picture so can display from two different inputs and you can buy a separate kvm switch for your keyboard and mouse

- Answer The full specs are 5120x1440 / 60-240hz Freesync and G-sync Compatible / 1 ms GTG / HDR1000 / 1000R curve..... normalized nits about 450, and peak nits of 1000 (as per Vesa HDR1000 specification)

- Answer I am pretty sure that this monitor will eventually be available in stores. Unfortunately due to how super duper sexy it is everybody wants one. Everybody. What that means is that people who have an "in" to Best Buy will probably get one before you because they know a guy who knows a guy. I do not want to presume that you do not "know a guy," but I would say it is safe to think if you did you would be asking them and not someone like myself whose greatest possessions consist of a factory sealed Vanilla Ice: To The Extreme Cassette Tape, a sheet of 1992 Elvis Presley Commemorative Stamps, and a picture of a guy that in reality could or could not very well be my real father. - Answer My CRG9 arrived with an included metal bracket for vesa mounting. I believe this product will be no different. It should be included.

- Answer You can use this for anything. I would hope you are using a pc editing program. If so, as long as your gpu supports a high resolution, it will be like looking through a window. Yes, it is that clear and the response time is insane.

QuestionHas this been discontinued, because i was looking forward to trying to get this, but it has sold out for a while and after searching saying that it has been due to bleed light at the top of it. Or are you waiting on the next upgraded model?

- Answer The monitor is being sold again after a recall. I purchased it at the end of September and do not have the light bleeding issue that was present. There are still issues with the monitor but none that would stop me from buying it again.

- Answer from what i know samsung stopped selling this panel because it has with flicker screens and the panels tend to fall off. i do not believe will see this monitor for a while. but if you want a similar model that is 1440p at 120hz the samsung C49RG90 is an amazing panel no issues and its the same size as the g9. however you might have to order it from newegg or something like that.

- Answer Samsung really botched the launch of this monitor. The specs are phenomenal so pre-orders were through the roof. There were some initial quality issues with the front bezel separating from the panel and allowing LED panel backlight to shine through. That seems to have caused a stop-sale and a second round of QC. Meanwhile backorders have kept piling up. I've been waiting since May through another retailer. From what I can tell, Best Buy was one of the first US retailers to get stock and has since received/distributed a second wave about 2-3 weeks ago. I would expect them to come available on about a weekly basis and given BB's history, they seem to do well in getting units.
