A: Yes, I used it with a Vesa 100/100 mount and mounted it directly to my wall. I used the VideoSecu LCD LED Monitor TV Wall Mount. it does not state it fits the 49" but the weight rating is more than enough. I installed it successfully w/o issue.
A: Yes, the easiest way to do this is to download Microsoft Powe toys and use the program Fancy Zones. See uploaded pics. There are a lot of options on screen splits. Check it out. There are easy to follow direction on You Tube, take a look and see if it is for you.

The Best Review Ever – A Life-Changing Monitor!
This is, without a doubt, the best monitor I’ve ever seen or used in my life. The Samsung 49” Odyssey OLED G9 (G93SD) is absolutely perfect – the image quality, the ultra-wide display, the 240Hz refresh rate, the stunning OLED clarity… it’s simply mind-blowing! I highly recommend it to anyone who has the privilege of experiencing it. Whether you’re a gamer, content creator, or professional – this monitor will transform the way you work and play. Smooth, bright, and super clean
This monitor is crazy good. The picture is insanely sharp, colors pop like crazy, and the high refresh rate makes every game feel buttery smooth. No dead pixels, no lag, no issues at all. Setup was fast and the build quality feels solid. For the price, this thing is a monster. Absolutely worth it!

Samsung - 49" Odyssey OLED G9 - Great monitor!
First off, I have never had a 49" screen. I have always used a quad setup to get the "real estate" that I needed. That being said I will never go back to a quad! I have a 34" above for all other contant "streaming services, discord, etc." The 49" has a wonderful screen and the setup was very easy for me to use. Great color and the referesh rate is not to bad. The PnP is nice as well! For just a bit above 1k , I don't think there is another monitor on the market that can beat the quality of this! I have a 5070ti and the quality of the game play at 1440 is awesome! Specs of my system: AMD 7 9700x MSI - MAG B650 Tomahawk PNY Nvidia 5070ti Corsair 64Gb DDR5 6000 Mhz Samsung 2TB M.2 990 evo plus
