Great tv

I use the 120hz mode on cod and fortnite and it feels smooth. I do have an issue when sometime my tv is slow to turn off and on. I usually just unplug the cord but is weird and inconvenient. Also sometimes the tv will flicker in and out which happens during gaming sometimes and is not fun.

I recently bought a PS5, and hooking that up to this TCL has been breathtaking! Getting Mini-LED, VRR, ALLM, all for about $600 is a deal! I can’t recommend this TV enough!!

Its doing 4k, HDR and 120 FPS. I play pretty much only videogames on it and it also has incredibly low latency. What more could you need? Just buy it.

This tv has exceeded my expectations for under $600. Pros: Picture quality - colors pop and are bright. Look great while video gaming Aesthetics - unobtrusive design with barely any bezel; fits my stand perfectly Sound - decent sound for not having a soundbar Cons Contrast - this is not an OLED, but it performs decently Google OS - not an issue since I use my Apple TV Remote - I hate that thing Overall I recommend because as a display, it does what it needs to do

The colors on movies I’ve watched before now pop and become noticeable. The OS is not a problem at all for me so far. I logged into my apps and they work great. Best option for gamers who aren’t ready to drop over $1k on a tv or monitor.

I find it to be best when you adjust the picture to your preference. Screen is really bright. User interface is really good, though during start up might be a little sluggish. There is no way to get to your inputs quickly or auto detection, say if I turn on my Xbox. Sound is really good. One thing that really bothers me is that there is a little bit of blooming around the whites at certain moments. not significant at all but I notice it.

Q: QuestionI upgraded from the R615 to the R646, use all the same cables and receiver (Pioneer Elite w/ HDMI ARC and HDMI 2.0b cable). The TV will not play Dolby Atmos HD content via any app on the tv or via passthrough. What settings does it need to play Atmos?

- A:Answer I looked into this myself, and Dolby Atmos HD uncompressed needs eARC (ARC will do it, but in a compressed format). So when my receiver sees the signal, it plays Dolby Digital + as designed.

- A:Answer You have to turn on hdmi 2.1 in the settings menu on the TV settings inputs/channels then scroll down and turn on hdmi 2.1 it should work after that my series x works fine at 4k120 I do turn off Dolby vision as I think it looks worse also VRR does not work great and can cause strobing/flashing when on4k120 for me

- A:Answer Works at 4k120 for me on PC and Xbox series x VRR has issues on Xbox strobing/flashing works great without VRR PC has no issues with vrr you have to turn hdmi 2.1 on in the settings on the TV
