A:Answertypically the VPN will be loaded on the router...or local pc/mac/device. This modem converts the internet co signal to be used by your router, most routers will let you do the VPN on the device instead of the pc/mac. I use PIA VPN on my mac, and have loaded the PIA info into my nighthawk router, both work great. Didn't see any settings to load the vpn on this modem when i set it up...just get a decent router or run the client locally.
