A:AnswerI repair dryers and if you take apart a dryer timer and turn the shaft it is obvious that although you can turn it in either direction it doesnt really like counter clockwise. Going counter clockwise will shorten the life of the timer. If you go past the setting you wish to select just continue around another turn.

A:AnswerHi Racingwife - While not all comforters are the same thickness, most size comforter will wash properly as long as it fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly. It has a spacious 3.8 DOE cu. ft. tub. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerHi searching- Yes, the washer is equipped with a Single Action Agitator. It also features Adaptive Fill + 4 water levels- Washer will automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water, or choose your own (Small, Medium, Large, Super). Further note that new GE Appliances washer models meet or exceed the latest energy and water efficiency requirements. A:AnswerHi Grand- Thanks for viewing GE! Our Unitized Spacemaker® Washer and Electric Dryer GUD27ESSMWW requires 240V or 208V single-phase 60 Hz electrical service and should be protected by 30-amp time-delay fuses or circuit breakers KW Rating per voltage (240/208). The figure 120/240 simply means one side of the 240 line operates the motor and 240 operates the heaters. If you try to operate on 120 volts only, the heaters will not work efficiently to dry the load. Check out the Quick Specs at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=GUD27ESSM_27GSSM_C3_17.pdf - Thanks for checking with us! A:AnswerHi CarolF- We can provide the average water usage. The minimum is 12 gallons and maximum is 22 gallons. We suggest to view the diagram on page 11 of the Owner's Manual regarding water levels: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90581-2.pdf - New models must meet energy guidelines, so they use less water than in the past. The water may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal operation. The water fill is optimized by the system for best wash performance. Also, WiFi Connect requires Optional Module PBX10W00Y0 (sold separately). Learn more at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/connected-appliances/washer-dryer-laundry.htm - Thanks for viewing GE! SUE@GEA
