A:AnswerHi searching- Yes, the washer is equipped with a Single Action Agitator. It also features Adaptive Fill + 4 water levels- Washer will automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water, or choose your own (Small, Medium, Large, Super). Further note that new GE Appliances washer models meet or exceed the latest energy and water efficiency requirements. Therefore, you may notice that your washer fills with less water than your prior model did. This is normal. GE Appliances washers are designed for and are thoroughly tested using modern water levels and will provide the exceptional cleaning you have come to expect from GE Appliances. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

A:AnswerHi Grand- Thanks for viewing GE! Our Unitized Spacemaker® Washer and Electric Dryer GUD27ESSMWW requires 240V or 208V single-phase 60 Hz electrical service and should be protected by 30-amp time-delay fuses or circuit breakers KW Rating per voltage (240/208). The figure 120/240 simply means one side of the 240 line operates the motor and 240 operates the heaters. If you try to operate on 120 volts only, the heaters will not work efficiently to dry the load. Check out the Quick Specs at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=GUD27ESSM_27GSSM_C3_17.pdf - Thanks for checking with us! A:AnswerHi CarolF- We can provide the average water usage. The minimum is 12 gallons and maximum is 22 gallons. We suggest to view the diagram on page 11 of the Owner's Manual regarding water levels: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90581-2.pdf - New models must meet energy guidelines, so they use less water than in the past. The water may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal operation. The water fill is optimized by the system for best wash performance. Also, WiFi Connect requires Optional Module PBX10W00Y0 (sold separately). Learn more at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/connected-appliances/washer-dryer-laundry.htm - Thanks for viewing GE! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerThe machine has multiple cycles, so it will depend on the cycle you choose and the size of the load. For example, I frequently use the medium setting for colors, with a large load and deep rinse. This usually takes 45 minutes to an hour.
A:AnswerHi there - Some start-up squeak is normal. The sound should go away after the first few seconds of operation. If the sound continues, we recommend you contact service. You can reach us directly via the GE Appliances website or social media. We hope this helps. -Gina@GEA

A:AnswerRecently purchased mine. I don’t recall a ding going off when it’s finished. Not sure exactly what you mean by audible. You cannot voice commands into this one if that’s what you’re looking for. Hope this helps.
