QuestionHas anyone had issues with the vacuum surging? I don't know how else to describe it, it surges and pulses between working and barely working.

- Answer Most likely it is because you have debris blocking the tubes. Check all the points and it should work. If not I am not sure.

- Answer Hello Dede, this is Kelly with Dyson. Any of the non-motorized attachments that you have for your Dyson V7 and V8 will be interchangeable. While the motorized attachments may fit, they may not work the same, as the power between units is different. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Questioni bought 2 in 1 animal bagless v8 and the question is why does the brush head stop and only sucks my area carpet? what's going on? I'm not satisfied with the performance details as suggested.

- Answer It does that to us when we vacuum our rugs on the "High" setting. Too much power and it sucks the brush head attachment into the rug and stops the brush. We now vacuum our rugs with it on "low" and it works perfectly even on our longer strand shower rug.

QuestionDoes the V8 direct drive motorhead or new tangle less motorhead have more pick-up ability and which would clean the best on both carpet and hard floors with 3 dogs? Do I still need fluffy bar for hard floors with tangle less motorbar?

- Answer Hi. I have 2 dogs and use this vacuum on hardwood floors and carpet and it cleans fantastically. I went over my daughters carpet 2 times and picked up so much dog hair that my normal vacuum didn’t!

- Answer Although the eight would probably work fine I might go for the 10 because it has a new style roller that is much better than the old ones. Plus you get extra time… You can vacuum longer without having to charge it.
