First off, this crate is really pretty and makes a great tv stand. It wasn’t too difficult to put together once you get in the groove of things, and it’s reasonably sturdy - but probably not for giant dogs (I think we will probably have to get something else when he’s bigger). We’ve had this set up for almost 2 weeks now with an 8 (now 10) week old puppy. This is not good if the dog isn’t potty trained as the wood isn’t sealed properly to handle that, and a part of the center divider frame is coming apart and warping from the puppy not being potty trained yet and peeing in the crate when we are gone. There’s lots of spots for a bored puppy to chew inside the crate as well. The slide latches aren’t very strong and would be easy to open for a relatively smart dog- we will have to replace for heavier duty ones soon as he grows. I love the idea of this crate, but there are way too many things wrong with it for the price.
