Super simple
It's really easy to use. All of the attachments ensure that the plug is compatible with your camera. Make sure you keep your camera on a regular mode. I put it on remote release originally and there was a delay. Soft press for auto focus then hard press for a shutter release. Well worth the price.

Good shotter release replacement
The shutter release came with several camera attachments and the one I used was for my Nikon D3. It works very well, just like the original. One side benefit is that the connectors are miro-stereo and so I had an old 3.5mm 25' cable that I can add 2.5mm adapters to and then use it as a long wired shutter release as well. The only problem with the extended setup is that it only releases the shutter but I cannot use the half-press function. But for this operation I would probably be using manual focus anyway so no big deal. As an experiment I may get rid of the adapters and purchase a 25' 2.5mm cable and see if it works better, but in the mean time this will work quite well and I don't have to worry about the batteries being dead :)

Great inexpensive shutter control
This thing works great for the price. Used it without any problems. Has adapters for all different connections.

Rocketfish wired remote works very well.
I have a Canon T5i and this works excellent with it. Needed it for long exposure photography and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Should last a really long time.
