The design is great, the leather case looks sleek and feels sturdy. However, brought it to work and the rubber design on the case itself was removed. The tricky part was to insert the charger into the case. If you don't have a spare cord or using an original apple charger, this would be a big deal to you. When you try to remove it (because maybe you don't want to use the travel case anymore), you'd find it difficult. The cord will somehow break and you might need to buy a new one.

This product is extremely poorly designed in my opinion. The first one I bought for my wife was in a case sealed by the factory and when I opened it the charging cable was destroyed. The second one I purchased was packaged properly and all items were in working condition. It was extremely difficult to figure out how to thread the wire into the product so it could be used properly. There were no instructions given in the product. I even looked in YouTube videos to see how to properly use this device. Bottom line I think there could have been better ways to design this product so it would be effective. My wife figured out a way to make it work and it does a great job at keeping her watch charged and the case should allow her watch to be safe if being transported inside it.

I purchased this for my wife as we both travel and have cats and the normal stands looked a little to unstable for a cat household. It appeared straight forward to set up and it mostly was. It uses a normal Apple watch charger by having you plug in to an internal USB port and winding the cord around the inside of the barrel. When you are done, the charger fits in and you have to totally contained system. BIG CAUTION: As the unit doesn't come apart you need to twist the top to wind the cable in. This action seems to cause twisting of the cable and can jam or damage the cable. Be careful whilst winding. As for using it: it works very very well. The barrel shape helps keep the watch on the unit, even when being batted off a night stand as 2 AM. The battery is very useful and seems to be able to charge the watch with no problem This battery option came in handy as the charger itself requires a micro-usb cable which my wife didn't have. After using this in both home and travel we have found it to be definitely worth the cost and set up hassle.

I got this on sale a few weeks ago and I really love how it holds enough battery to charge my watch two times, the only things I don't like are: -the cable rolling and unrolling is a nightmare, if you're gonna use this as your main watch stand/charger you don't have to worry about this, but if you're going to use it once in a while, then you're going to need to be very patient to go through all the process of getting out the charging cable from the base. -if you use a case/protector on a 42 mm watch then you may need to remove it when you put it in the carrying case that has the zipper; this is depending on how bulky the case makes your watch. The materials it is constructed from are good and I haven't had any issues so far.

I didn't really understand what this device did until I used it. It will charge itself with an internal battery (btw comes precharged!) and allowed me to charge up the watch fully three nights in row without being plugged into power. This will be great for camping trips this summer! It is compact and works well with nightstand mode in WatchOS2. I can look over in the middle of the night and by simply tapping on the table, it lights up the watch with a nice green color.

I am a bit of a traveler for work. What I am getting frustrated with is all of the different cords I need to find plugs for. I saw this and thought for my overnight trips will be easier with one less plug. This does well to fill that bill. My only complaint, if it is that bad of one, is that the amount of space that was allotted for Apple's 3 foot cable is tight. It works, but removing the cord is not appealing after getting ip set up once. Aside from that, great product if you want to reduce your outlet requirements by one.

I actually returned the Nomad charger and bought this one instead. Two things, a) I can use all my cases with this charger (the nomad had problems attaching to say...the Lunatik case and 2) you can use night stand mode with this as well. It has convenient carrying case and everything fits very snug and tight. My only observation is that it doesn't get to the 2.5 charges it claims to deliver (on the 42mm model) but it's pretty close to 2 full charges which is enough for me. Overall very compact and portable.

Works great. The case keeps watch secure during charging and transport. Wish it would come with its own short charging cable

Great little charger and it doubles as a protecting carry case when you're traveling

This is a great little charger. It's portable and has a nice case to carry your watch and charger in. The only thing is that you have to make sure the USB is all the way in before winding the cord inside.

I enjoy the unit for keeping my iWatch safe when not in use and charging it up. It's small enough to take with me and not keeping a bulky charger with me.

Great charger and good size to carry around. The charger carries a good charge even when not plugged up.

I asked the Best Buy worker if the 2m cord that the Apple Watch comes with would fit. He said yes, so I bought it. I had a really hard time getting it to fit. I ended up returning it and buying the griffin watch stand charging dock. Much better in my opinion and it was only $20

Actually, my wife purchased this as a gift for me. If that was not the case, I would have returned it. I may...or may not...try to use it again. First: the instructions are very inadequate. Second: the cord on the Apple Watch charger is hard to get wound into the device. It must be wound in so tight as to surely lessen the lifespan of the cord. And it was very hard to remove from the device once, though I had followed the instructions carefully, my watch failed to charge.

I really like having this portable charger although it doesn't work with every band that well. Very good buy though.
Use it mainly when I go the night some where to put my watch up when I'm on the go so I don't have to take my dock.

I returned this item. I would not recommend this for an Iwatch especially if you have a case to protect it.(it won't fit or be a very uncomfortable fit) Also you have to use your own charging cable which at first seems like an amazing idea to twist it inside the case but in the end the charging part always pops off. If you want to remove the cable it will be difficult and if not done correctly you may break the item or cable.

Good for Travel and use it at home. It is better than the charging unit that comes with the watch

Good Product, Take your time winding the cord in the unit if hurried it will bind and make a mess
