Cheap but apparently obsolete model

Bought this thinking it was a low cost way to upgrade my home wireless. However, I did not realize that the latest firmware update was over 3 years old and no new ones since then. This makes it a security risk and I will be replacing with something more secure. Avoid this router as it can not be secured and has been apparently abandoned for support by TP-Link. Not worth the risk for saving a few $s.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
