its actually got quite a bit of power to it, not bad. and I got it as open box so for the price, it was totally worth it. its just really big an occupys a lot of real estate in a camera bag. I recommend putting it in like an outer pocket.

Used for shooting inside of a darker theatre. Worked well, maybe a bit too well at times. This will give you the power of the sun and if the room is too dark it will wash out.

I was looking for an external flash to start exploring the use of flashes. I don't do a lot of work requiring flash, so this one was ideal for my purposes. It has a lot of features - more than what I think (at this time anyway) I will need, but I like versatility. I haven't experimented a lot with it, but am impressed with what I have done with it. Sunpak has been around a long time. Its name was more familiar to me than most others. This, the price point, the features, compatibility with my cameras, and availability were the prime reasons for my purchase.

Nice, worked well on my camera. It was only one available at time, would have liked to have several to choose from. Easy to put on and take off. Has nice case for storage.

'Replaced' my Nikon Speedlight SB-600 with this. More power, better performance. Under normal use, not too much difference between the two, but the Sunpak flash can reach a bit farther and wider than my Nikon.

The flash works better than I expected. So far I am very pleased. Takes shadowing away during the day and makes great photos in poor lighting to almost no lighting. And easy to make adjustments if you do not need direct flash or flash is to bright.

This is a really good flash as an alternative to the more expensive offering from Canon or Nikon. I use this flash with my Canon EOS Rebel T6. The E-TTL works as expected. So far I have not had a chance to fully use it, but reading all of the features it is quite an advanced flash from the one I have for my film camera and closely mimics the Cannon Speed Light series of flashes.

This flash is packed with features. Works with Canon or Nikon, and uses their TTL. Comes with a nice case, a stand and a diffuser, and can work remotely through infrared. Well made. A great flash at a fraction of the cost of the big boys.

This flash is awesome! I shot a wedding with it, and my only other point of reference is the Nikon SB-400, and this one is leaps and bounds more powerful than it. I shot bouncing the flash off the ceiling, and often adjusting the flash brightness for the occasion. No complaints!

This flash brings no features or technology that haven’t been around for decades. But...it is cheap, and it works well enough to serve as a back up or emergency use piece of gear. It’s difficult to complain about when it costs so little. I’d recommend it to beginners, or pros that are in a bind.

I don't use flash often, so I bought this as a lower priced replacement for previous Canon flash unit that broke. This flash seems like it has good functionality and power, but the owners manual that comes with it is very difficult to read, due to poor translation from another language.. Very hard to understand how to get in to the various modes, use as slave, etc. I don't understand why they don't rewrite the manual in understandable translation.
