    Satisfied Purchaser

    I was happy to see this digital answering machine available through Best Buy. Not an easy product to find either in-store or online. The price of the product was quite reasonable. With the instructions included, setup was fairly easy. The ability to hear the incoming phone number identified is a plus.

    Excellent Item

    This ATT answer machine is a superb item but is priced low to purchase. I had its previous version for about 20 years and never had a problem except when it life came to an end. I had no reluctance to purchase the current version, and its even better than the previous version.

    Reliable and easy to use

    The product is sized to fit almost anywhere, and has only a few simple buttons with clear labels and instructions. The speaker and volume positions are clear. I was a little concerned about the text labels sizing, but the high contrast (black on white) makes easy reading. Great for people who remember 'old telephone' technology. The unit looks modern but have familiar characteristics. An 80 year old took a quick look and was able to feel comfortable with using it.

  • Does the answering machine identify the incoming telephone number of the caller?

    It doesn't give me the phone number of the caller, I wish it did!!!

  • when someone leaves a message, can you hear the message being recorded or is it silent so as to only hear the message when it is played back

    The machine monitors incoming calls. You can hear the caller and screen your calls, if you want.

  • Can I plug this in a wall phone jack? Considering removing the large phone and replacing it with something that looks more useful and modern while selling this house. Thanks for you suggestions!

    This answering machine plugs into an existing wall phone jack , then a phone line goes from the machine and plugs into a telephone. The phone line that goes from the machine to the telephone is not included, however, there is a built in line connected to the machine that goes into the wall jack.
