My center speaker with subwoofer doesn't offer back speakers. This universal back speakers kit works well with my set up. Good value.

I got them on sale, I couldn’t be happier for how they perform for the price. I put them in my bedroom and it definitely made it into surround sound. They are extremely loud for there size and clear. The remote that comes with it is very weak and doesn’t always react to the command I pressed. I know some people have complained about the cracking. I have heard it crack a few times but no big deal. Overall i couldn’t be happier especially for the sale price.

Picked these up on the markdown rack. Didn’t get the Bluetooth portion of it as I didn’t realize it came with the speakers, but the speakers have a direct wire connection which was fine. Awesome sound out of these little babies, I wish they had more as I would have paid for them too!

These were a great idea in theory, but not so good in execution. While you can adjust the time delay, there's not enough of a control range to get rid of the echo. I'm guessing even at minimum setting, it still has a 30 ms delay - seems like it adjusts from about 30-60 ms, when it should be more like 5-30 ms. Also - the darn thing turns off at the slightest bit of inactivity - pause TV to go get a drink - I come back in 5 minutes and they've turned off and need turned back on. The remote also has to be very specifically aimed at the unit as well which is kind of annoying. Taking them back, they're too goofy to justify hanging on to these.

These speakers were exactly what I was looking for. I could plug these in an outlet by my balcony and hear my TV without blasting my inside TV speakers up.

Hooking this up it quick and easy if you have basic knowledge of how the tech works. They sound okay but no mind blowing by any means. Not sure that I would use these with just t.v speakers. I was using these in conjunction with my LG sound bar & subwoofer. Overall pretty good but I would not buy these at full price ($129.99) but would say they're worth about $60-$80 personally.

The insignia universal rear speakers do what they are suppose to do. It’s very easy to install. A few complaints. First of all, if you’re looking for quality sound, this is not it. The quality of the sound is ok at best. Lastly, the unit itself seems to freeze from time to time. Just a simple unplug and restart will fix it, but a little annoying.

First of all its a great idea of being able to get real surround sound (not fake) for any existing source( with optical works best). It does great job on that. You can control real volume , delay, master volume etc with remote. Gets really louder for small or medium room. Sound quality could be better but its inexpensive,, you can replace with other speakers

I got this in sale and it was definitely worth it. I was able to set this up for my parents in their home with little fuss. The sound is quite loud, and syncs well with the video on screen. Surround sounds are not as distinct as some more expensive brands, but there is definitely some separation that makes for a larger, fuller experience.

Installed these along with the Insignia sound bar that I already had. Take the optical output cable from TV, put into front control box, then run additional optical cable from there to Insignia sound bar. You will then be able to control both the Insignia Sound bar plus the new Universal Rear speakers to you liking. All works good and for me when I sit in back of room closer to the rear speakers it helps to not have to turn up main sound bar so much.

I wanted some sound in the back of the room without spending tons of cash. These are just what I wanted. They’re definitely not high end or spectacular but they work great for what I wanted.

The neutral black color, slender look and low cost was our family attraction to this add-on. One of our rooms needed a rear channel speaker system so this product, we felt, could fill the need. The Geek Squad people were very helpful with their installation, efforts to please us and their knowledge of the process. Unfortunately, this system didn't help at all for the following reasons: a) It blocked the function of the soundbar's woofer (no bass), b) The high and middle frequency signals between the soundbar and the rear speakers were so separate that a terrible echoing was troublesome; and c) The situation was further promulgated by not being compatible with our Harmony brand remote. The Best Buy's efforts were admirable but unsuccessful after 4 attempts (3 home visits and 2 via walk-around phone chats. We returned the product and received a full refund. This month-long period was frustrating but thank goodness that we had a home product warranty. Nevertheless, kudos to all of the Best Buy staff that eased our frustrations. We'll be shopping in the future for a higher-end surround sound system at Best Buy!

I use these speakers with my Insignia sound bar- you cannot beat them for the price. They are not high end but they are well worth the money for me. I use them outside in a covered patio so I did not want to invest a lot of money.

This product is great for people that have soundbars with no rear speakers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is it did not work going through the digital optical cable, had to use the auxiliary cable. But it still sounds great!

We have a sound bar in the living room and these in our kitchen. Works well. Only downside is it turns off when the Tv turns off, but does not automatically turn on when the TV turns on. Small annoyance
