Kenwood in dash stereo was a great buy for me the price was good and it’s pretty easy to use

This is a replacement radio as the one we purchased kept shutting off. The repair shop has been very accommodating with this ongoing problem and they upgraded the radio and charged us a small amount for the difference! My daughter has not had a problem with the current radio and we are very pleased!

I was looking for a new stereo with a vehicle and this option came up for wireless android auto and apple car play. I decided to give it a shot and it has worked out great. The wireless connection can get buggy from time to time but that should be expected anytime you deal with wireless technology

Easy to use. I like it has three camera inputs. I enjoy using iHeartRadio on it. Haven’t got my phone to mirror yet, but might be my phone. Weird thing is it has a GPS antenna, but I don’t see a way to use GPS on the deck.

This stereo works well for the most part. I have had issues with Android Auto not connecting, and for me to play music via Bluetooth I have to already have the spotify app open on my phone for music to play, even though the stereo shows the current song. I hope that a firmware update will let me use the native spotify and waze apps on the stereo itself, so far they don't work. Overall, the stereo is a much needed upgrade from my stock radio, I enjoy the Bluetooth and Android Auto capabilities, and the sound quality is much better than my stock radio. I've had some issues, but it was still a good buy, especially on sale.

Bought this to install in my older F-150. Kids love watching movies on it during road trips. Screen quality and responsive is what you would expect from Kenwood! Buying a second one for my other car soon.

So I got this for my wife, for her FJ Crusier - stock receiver in the FJ is pretty bad. I got this for the overall upgrade but also the Carplay. Everything installed fine, but Carplay doesn't work. If you go to Kenwood's website to support, they show only up to iphone 7 is supported!? Not cool. I did the firmware update also just to be sure, sure enough, Carplay doesn't start whether on her 8 or my XS Max. Everything else works fine, Waze apps is great for navigation on it.

We just had this installed in our family hauler, a 2013 Toyota Sienna that came with the "upgraded" non-JBL 6 speaker nav unit that sounded terrible. Compared to that, this Kenwood is a revelation. I'd say overall I'm pretty satisfied with it but I have a couple of minor gripes. Maybe I'm old school but I prefer to have just three tone adjustments - bass, mid and treble. With so many bands on the EQ it's hard to find a perfect sound and I'm not even sure I'll ever find perfection, so I end up setting it to basically flat and using the sub level to get the best tone which so far I'm pretty happy with. I give it 4 stars because while I think the sound quality is very good, it's a bit "bright" or "brassy" sounding for my taste. I like a warmer sound. Just a personal preference and it could be more due to the speakers I went with which are Kicker 6x9 fronts and 6.5 rears. Also threw in an Alpine 4 way amp and Pioneer 10" non-ported amplified sub which has plenty of bass for the car. It just needed to fill in the bottom, which it does well enough. Wife loves it, and as I said people have different tastes when it comes to sound. It has TONS of adjustments, everything you can imagine. Some will love that but it can be a bit daunting for someone who isn't sure what they are adjusting. There are lots of options for this price range, go with the one you like. I don't think you need all of the options this unit has but I wanted wireless CarPlay and you pay a bit more for that. If you are going to be plugged in all the time though, you can skip it. Ryan at Sandy store did our install and he was fantastic.

Only flaw is that the wired mirroring doesn’t work, but CarPlay and all the other features work just fine

This unit looks great and was an outstanding update to a slightly dated factory system. It is easily and intuitively operated, yet provides an astounding level of audio control. It integrates seamlessly with my iPhone. The only negative, in my experience, is that WAZE navigation doesn’t work. However, I’m pretty sure the problem is with the WAZE app itself, as the Apple Maps app works great. Hopefully, they will get the bugs worked out soon, and it’ll be perfect.

I just had this radio put in a week ago. So far I really like the radio, but it takes a little to get to know all the features. Compared to the OEM radio, most defiantly glad I had this put in.
