Customers value the FlexBreeze HydroGo Fan for its powerful airflow, portability, and impressive battery life, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The misting feature and sleek design are also appreciated by users. However, some customers have noted that the misting tank requires frequent refills, and the fan lacks oscillation. Overall, the FlexBreeze HydroGo Fan delivers satisfactory performance.

The Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo is a powerful fan considering its size and that it can run totally portable thanks to its built-in battery. I didn't even know this product category existed but apparently Shark have been making different models in this line for quite awhile. After spending a few hot days last summer trying to figure out a home made misting fan setup, the FlexBreeze HydroGo arrives just in time to save me the hassle this summer.
#Unboxing and First Impressions#
The HydroGo arrived in a simple cardboard box with thankfully all recyclable cardboard packing materials inside. The fan arrived with an AC power adapter and a detachable tabletop stand. The instructions indicate that the stand can be swapped for different types, but so far I haven't been able to find the pedestal stand available for sale separately.
#Using the FlexBreeze#
Using the FlexBreeze is extremely easy. The water tank is fully integrated into the fan and there's a little magnetic flap that seals the front misting port off. I charged the fan up to be able to use it the first time - unfortunately I lost track of how long it took to fully charge out of the box. After that I filled the water tank and fired the fan up on my deck. On a pretty warm day (low 80s) that was thankfully not very humid, the effects of the misting fan were noticeable at the two highest settings even from about 8 feet away. One thing I noticed both indoors and outdoors is the mist is very fine, so you don't necessarily feel very damp when you use it. There aren't any big drops. I do think that if you used it indoors in the max misting mode that it would probably get a little damp over time, though.
The cooling effect is surprisingly powerful, but it's not a miracleor anything. This doesn't replace an air conditioner, and it probably won't make as much of a difference on humid days as it does on drier ones. That said, everyone in my family could detect a noticeable difference with the fan pointed at them and the misting effect turned on (even in the mode that pulses the mist on and off). I actually think the pulse mode works better since you feel it fade in and out rather than being a constant misting effect.
#Final thoughts#
The FlexBreeze HydroGo is an extremely 'cool' gadget that can make deck life bearable during the hot summer months. I can't wait to use it as summer heats up here in Tennessee. I also look forward to finding the accessories to be able to mount it to a pedestal for more flexibility.

Nice Lightweight Fan

The Shark - FlexBreeze HydroGo Fan, Indoor & Outdoor fan is a nice size and sits easily on a counter or on a table. It works either with the plug in cord or it has a battery that you charge and then works without being plugged in. The cord is nice and long. It has several adjustable speeds and when it runs, it is very quiet. It has a misting option that would be nice in a hot, dry climate but I haven’t used since it is very cool Spring where I live. It cautions you to dry out the water chamber so I think this feature could get tiresome and also might risk growing mold or nasty organisms. It has several stickers and tags on the fan with instructions. The fan is very lightweight and easy to carry around the house. Eventually, the blades will accumulate dust and I don’t see great options for cleaning the blades since as fans get old, this is a common problem and safety features may prevent the company from allowing this. The price point of this fan is quite high but the cordless feature may justify this.

This fan probably could have come with more instructions. Aside from a very sparse quick start guide, the only directions you receive are on little stickers that are plastered all over the exterior of the fan.
This is probably my biggest complaint about the fan. Aside from that, the fan works great.
The fan has a broad range of speeds to select from. At the lowest speed, it offers just enough of a gentle breeze to move air around the room. At its highest setting, it does a respectable job of cooling a medium size room (assuming that it's pointed in your direction).
The fan stresses making sure that the water reservoir is kept dry between uses, but there really isn't a good way of getting into it to dry it off. The best you can do is pour out any excess water and leave it uncapped to air dry.
I like that the fan can operate both with a plug or on battery. My home is prone to power failures during the summer, and having this around on 90+ degree days when the AC loses power will be a godsend.

I got this as we move into the hotter months: it seems like a great way to keep folks cool at backyard cookouts, tailgating or attending the different festivals and outings we do during the summer months. Unfortunately (or rather fortunately for us, unfortunately for reviewing) the weather hasn't been quite warm enough to test this to the limits of its capabilities yet but I appreciate its power as it can create a steady stream of cool air that you can feel on the otherside of a 10x10 shelter when the fan is on the other end of an open truck bed. The water feature is an interesting addition: I appreciate that they took care to make sure all electronic contacts like button and charging ports are sealed or gasketed to prevent the combination of water and electricity - it seems well thought out. While it hasn't been sizzling the way we usually see on Memorial Day I can tell that the water does add and extra element of cooling that really helps!
I took it with me tailgating for our local Memorial Day parade and I found that while it was nice, it wouldn't last the full event without running out of power: so its definitely something to be deployed strategically instead of the first thing setup to keep you cool while getting ready and then staying on to keep you cool throughout. Still recommended overall though.

Cool Fan

The fan is quite nice, easy to carry and has good battery life. The fan will operate plugged in or off battery. The mister will also work either plugged in or on battery.
The battery life, when unplugged obviously, is good to great depending on speed and if the mister is in use. Battery life milage may vary for you, but I got a good 6 hours cordless on speed 4 with no mist. The manual says 4 hours on speed 3, which I easily exceeded. Mist lasted on the intermittent setting for over an hour. You are more limited by the tank size for the mist.
According to the manual it takes 3 hours to charge from 0%. Charging speed was a bit slower for me, it took close to 4 hours for the first charge and a similar time when I run the battery out.
The mist feature is great, especially when cooking outside in 90 degree temps. Normally I am sweating like I am the one on the griddle when I am cooking outside. The mist really kept me much cooler, I would guess about a 10 degree drop comfort wise while I was cooking as compared to just a fan on.
If you spend a lot of time outdoors and want to use the mist, make sure you take a extra bottle of water with you just for fan refills.
This is a really great device. If you wonder if the mist gets you wet, the answer is no. Unless you are about 2 inches from the fan, then you will feel the dampness.

Best portable fan

This fan is a perfect addition to any relatively small area you need to cool down effectively. Personally, I use it in my garage when it gets hot outside and I have my golf simulator and net set up. This fan brings the temperature down enough to let me stay out and practice longer than before. The fan alone at Breezeboost speed does a great job of keeping me cool. If you REALLY want to cool it down, use the misting function at Breezeboost speed. It will only last about 30 minutes before the water runs out- but it's an effective 30 minutes. It makes a significant difference in the ambient temperature around you. I think this fan would be a great addition to a shop or garage or dorm room. The fan itself will run continuously at 5 total speeds including the powerful Breezeboost function when plugged in, but when unplugged and charged will still give you a decent amount of run time even at high speeds. The included short base is fine if you have it sitting on something, but it is detachable and allows you to place it on a stand base that can be purchased separately. It is not oscillating, but that is not a concern for me. I highly recommend this little powerhouse.

Another great portable fan from Shark

This new FlexBreeze HydroGo fan from Shark is the newest version of their FlexBreeze fans. I already owned 2 of their FlexBreeze fans before I ordered this one. I have a pedestal version as well as a tabletop version. The main difference between the first 2 I bought and this one is that this newest model has a built-in misting tank. The other versions require that you attach the mister to the outside of the fan when you want to use it, which is less convenient. With this HydroGo version, you can just charge it, fill up the misting tank, and take it with you anywhere. This is a great fan to use at the beach or on the back porch on a hot summer day. When fully charged, the fan can run up to 12 hours on battery power. Although this fan is fairly expensive, it is well-worth the price considering the features and the quality. This fan is also great to have on hand in case of power outages.

No mention of what type of charging cord

I have no negative things to say. But I do think it's kind of hard that they do not mention what type of charging this fan has. I was told it was a 120 plug in which makes this thing not USB type-c or any type of charging that would be preferred. Because if you're out camping where you going to find 120. And if I'm wrong on that it's because your ad does not mention any specifics on what type of charging cord or show in the pictures. I feel it's a dishonest move because people would dislike it if you disclose the type of charging.
