Q: What kind of electric connection does this stove have? 3-prong? 4-prong?
A: Hey there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question! We know how important setting up the correct electrical connection for your stove would be, and we’re glad to advise. This model would use a single-phase, 120/208 VAC or 120/240 VAC, 60 hertz electrical system. Regarding the cord and its prongs, we actually would not include the power cord with the range. This is because local electrical codes can vary in their requirements (for example, 3-prong vs 4-prong) or even require the unit be hardwired. We would recommend checking your local electrical codes to determine the power cord you’ll need. Checking with a local dealer may be a good idea, or you can also contact our parts department at 1-877-959-8688 to obtain a cord. The appliance needs to be connected to an individual, properly grounded, 40 amp branch circuit protected by a circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. A 3-conductor or 4-conductor UL-listed range cord should be used, and the cord should be rated at 40 amps with 125/250 minimum volt range. More details about the electrical requirements are available in the installation instructions. If you’d like to view those online, you can do so on our GE Appliances website by looking up the model number and going to the product page. We hope this information helps. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re glad to offer assistance any time. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
Q: What is the temperature range on the oven? How low and high can it be heated?
A: Hi there, thank you for the excellent question. The normal cooking temperatures that can be adjusted by the control knob on the oven go between 200 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit. We hope this helps, and please be sure to let us know if there are any ways we can assist you in the future. -Elliot@GEA
Q: Does this electric stove have a ceramic surface ?
A: Hello. Thanks for your interest in this beautiful range. Yes, it has a Black Glass Ceramic cooktop surface. If you have any additional questions, please reach out. We are happy to help!- Kianna@GEA
Q: can you remove the black splash guard in the back of the stove top?
A: We do not advise removing the splash guard in on the back of the cooktop, as this can void your warranty.
Q: Do the range buttons need to be pushed down so they can't be accidentally turned on? Thank you!
A: The knobs of this range cannot be disabled. They do meet all safety requirements of having to be pushed in first before they can be turned. We know this range will be a fast favorite in your kitchen! -Kacie@GEAppliances
A: We're a little unsure of the flip panel you're inquiring about. The depth of the unit is 28-1/8". This is the full depth, and no panel adds to this length.

All in all this is a nice range and would have gave it a 5 if not for the flimsy bottom draw. Otherwise it's great …
