Work great with budget amp

Very sensitive speakers, don't need a powerful amp to drive them. They get ridiculously loud off of just my budget denon AVR. Sound is perfect for a home theater room.

JBL Does It Again!

JBL Studio 698s are AWESOME speakers! Well worth the money, which hurts at $850 each. But, comparing speakers in today's market, to get a high end, very precise speaker, you will be paying at least this much. Beautiful sound reproduction. The high frequencies are crisp but not over whelming. Full mid range. Wonderful bass! Easily shakes the house while maintaining their beautiful sound. The only drawback I can find is that they are large (11.8"x15.7"x41.6"). But, the large speakers put out a HUGE sound! Even at quiet volumes, the sound imaging is incredible. I can hear things in the background of the recording that I did not hear before. Wow!
