Outstanding. I purchased it to do home Projection shows and everything is high quality with no interruption on the graphics.

Things I like: Bright image, fast response time (so really good for gaming), it's relatively small and lightweight compared to pricier laser projectors, and the short throw distance is great for home theater use. Because it's laser, it runs quiet, doesn't get as hot as LCDs, and the color is vibrant even when the image is at its brightest. It's also extremely easy to adjust image aspect to fit your screen. A good value for the price. Things I don't love: It's only 1080p, so there's a clear difference in image quality compared to 4K projectors. It can receive 4K signals, which is good, but I just wish the image resolution was higher. With that said, if your projected image is ~85" or smaller, you can't tell all that much (image looks nice). But if you plan to project onto a big screen, 100" or bigger, you'll notice the 1080p limitations.

It is bright and visible for rooms with natural light. Highly recommend no direct sunlight as it be impossible to watch just any projector. Quality is good. Good for the price, be prepared to manually mount actual distance to screen to be exact as not able to adjust from projector, but for a laser and hd quality am not going to complain. Was looking for high lumens as it is on a covered back screen porch use and wanted something that could be used during the day. I needed the short throw to avoid a ceiling fan in the screen porch and maximize protection from outside elements.

I’ve been using the Optoma GT2100HDR laser projector for my home golf simulator setup, and overall I’m really impressed with the performance. First off, the brightness is excellent. Even with some ambient light in the room, the image stays vibrant and clear, which is crucial when you’re tracking ball flight and reading course details. The colors look natural, and the HDR support adds a nice touch of depth when running simulator software. The short-throw capability is a huge plus for a golf sim environment — it lets me mount the projector safely out of swing range while still filling a large impact screen from a relatively short distance. The laser light source is another big win. It powers on quickly, doesn’t require lamp replacements, and delivers consistent brightness across long practice sessions. Input lag is low enough that there’s no noticeable delay between impact and ball flight on screen, which keeps the experience immersive. My only minor drawbacks: while 1080p looks very sharp at typical simulator screen sizes, those wanting true 4K resolution might notice the difference. Also, fine-tuning keystone and alignment takes a little patience to get everything perfectly squared on an impact screen. Overall, the Optoma GT2100HDR is a fantastic choice for a golf simulator — bright, reliable, low maintenance, and well-suited to tight indoor spaces. Highly recommended for anyone building a serious home sim setup.

Great picture and throw for a less expensive projector. Using it for theatrical purposes and it holds its own against stage lights.

It has a great picture when aligned correctly. I must have not done a great job at reviewing the specs because it is only practical at a short distance and I thought it would adjust for short and standard throws. I didn't think the alignment options were very easy to use

It's a nice projector lacking a few things. For me the pro's and con's are listed below. Pro's: 1) Light and compact. As a portable device it is good. 2) Mount Versatility (Able to be mounted front, rear, ceiling etc.) 3) Throw distance from about 2 feet I was able to get a screen size of 150" 4) Multiple ways to connect (Hdmi, ethernet, usb, etc) Cons: 1) It says 4200 lumens but it the images wasn't as bright in well lighted rooms. 2) limited in HV corners adjustment. 3) lens cover to protect lens is not secure
