I have been chopping onions regular way for several years. This small appliance is a game changer. In less than 2 mins with chopping and tossing in. Im done. No more tears even peppers are chopped nicely, not mushy. I have no reason for puree yet. But definitely worth the buy.
Cool little unit - stylish and works like you'd expect from KitchenAid - EXCELLENT. The little blade holds into the unit when dumping out the contents, just with a little click it comes out. I like that feature from other units where it falls out easily and I am picking it out of the food. Cord wraps neatly and efficiently for ease of storing. I'm glad I got this one over a lesser brand to save a couple of bucks.
First off, this processor is so adorable to look at that you will be tempted to keep it out on your counter. It's sturdy but lightweight and easy to lift if you store it away. And no loose cord hanging since it wraps around the base.
The bowl, lid and blade seem tight at first but after using a few times they loosen up.
I've used it for chopping nuts and vegetables and making bread crumbs so far and it did a fantastic job and quickly too. It's pretty quiet for a small processor also.
The only thing I don't like is the bowl has 3 ridges inside that make it a bit more difficult to scrape clean. I bought a small spatula especially for this and it works well.
I cook a lot every day and I use a lot of jalapeños and just hot chili’s so that is what I use this little guy for have you ever had hot pepper hands well I get up at 3 am every morning to make food and now no more hot pepper hands this little guy gets used every morning and is a chap cuts evenly powerful enough to fill and handle it with the push control you don’t end up with a pulverized you end up with chopped I’ll be honest I only chopped hot peppers in here but it definitely dose what I wanted and it looks great on the counter real clean look easy to clean easy to use very happy with my purchase
A:AnswerYes, it does a good job at pureeing food and doesn't turn into mush if you are careful in how long you hold down the lid. But, liquids shoot out immediately through the lid so you lose quite a bit of content if you have liquids.
A:AnswerHi Giseljf, The mini food processor can be used for chopping or pureeing raw meats. We recommend that the meat be cut into 1 inch pieces before processing for the best results.
