This is my first Apple MacBook. After my HP Envy upgraded its operating system to Windows 11 and activated Bit-locker without providing a Bit-locker key I was forced to Factory Reset. I lost everything thanks to Windows 11. So, I have switched to MacOS and so far I’m loving it. Microsoft you destroyed all my work thanks to your stupid Bit locker.

The new 16” MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip is incredibly fast and responsive. Apps launch instantly, and it handles demanding tasks like video editing, code compiling, and multitasking with zero slowdown. The 48GB of memory makes a big difference if you regularly work with large files or multiple heavy apps. The Liquid Retina XDR display is beautiful—bright, sharp, and perfect for creative work. Battery life is outstanding; I get over 20 hours on a single charge with normal use. It also runs almost silently, even under load. That said, it’s expensive, and the 16” size makes it a bit heavy to carry around daily. If you’re upgrading from an older Intel Mac or even an early M1, you’ll notice a huge difference. But if you’re on an M2 Pro already, the jump may not feel as dramatic unless you really need the RAM or GPU boost. Final Take: If you want raw performance, top-tier build quality, and long battery life, this MacBook delivers. It’s a serious investment—but one that’s worth it for professionals who need the power.

It was time for an upgrade from my 2015 iMac core i5 8GM desktop that lasted me 10 yrs. I decided to go with this MacBook Pro 16 M4 48GB because I got a great price as an open box in excellent condition, and it was in excellent condition best buy really is the best buy. Apple makes quality products and I believe that laptop will last me 10 yrs too if not more.

I have fell in love with this MacBook. This is my first ever MacBook and I bought it for the Battery life and I am a computer science student who plans on keeping this laptop for 5 years and more. Going from Windows my whole life to this was not as bad as I thought. Getting used to the finder for files was the hardest thing but nothing that was impossible. Definitely watch some videos on apps to get to improve your experience. Also if you want to play games on your MacBook look up "Whisky". This basically emulates any windows app and I have stream on there and can play my favorite games and this computer handles them very well. SOmetime I think about if not getting the nano texture display was worth it because the glare is sometimes annoying but coming from an OLED screen, this doesn't have glare as bad as that. This MacBook is amazing though. I used it everyday.

I went from 8gb to this beast and holy wow what a difference I feel like my own brain works better working on this thing. Awesome for data heavy tech gurus who present on video calls with customers. Super trustworthy product and they let me price match for Black Friday. Great purchase

I have been an apple user for multiple decades now and this is an excellent computer. My last one was a M1 Mac book pro and it still is going strong. This one is lightyears better. First off it's FAST and I mean super fast. The cpu, memory, disk, graphics, all of it. This is my only computer I use out of the half dozen I have. Second its well built physically, solid and while I have not dropped it yet it looks like it might stand up to a drop or two (I don't recommend dropping any computer). Finally this works with my old docking station and I really like the new mag safe chargers. That's something I have liked since the old days of the original MacBook Airs. Way better than usb c chargers.

Hi, I'm an architect and I decided to go back to using a MacBook after years, because I can't deny how powerful they've become. I'm delighted with this new computer; it's very fast, has great graphics, the battery lasts a long time, and it definitely has a unique design.

I recently upgraded from my 2018 MacBook Pro with 16GB of memory because I was running out of storage and needed more performance for my workflow. I went with the new 16-inch MacBook Pro featuring the M4 Pro chip, 48GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD in the sleek Space Black finish. While I expected a more dramatic speed boost, especially given the jump in specs, the overall performance is definitely smoother and more capable—especially when multitasking and running demanding apps. The increased memory makes a big difference, and I no longer feel limited by storage. The build quality is as premium as ever, and the display is gorgeous. I also really appreciate how quiet and cool the machine runs. Overall, I'm happy with the upgrade. If you’re running into limitations with an older MacBook and need more memory and storage, this model is a solid choice.

It was in perfect condition, and with the AppleCare package we bought, Geek Squad will cover any repairs for the next three years. I really hope nothing happens to it—but if it does, we’re protected!

The MacBook Pro M4 model is a great choice. I love this laptop. Yes it is really big and I do travel a lot and being a big guy. This can be a struggle with this laptop. I try not to use it when I’m on a plane, though the bill quality is out of this world definitely best speakers of any laptop and even though it doesn’t have an old display and has. Definitely best speakers of any laptop and even though it doesn’t have a old display, it has a mini LED screen that rivals the screen of my TV which is also mini LED screen shows true blacks in a way you may or may not have ever seen. I have a series of videos that I used to test this I have never had a laptop pass with flying colors when it comes to showing blacks or dark places on the screen. This MacBook Pro has thunderbolt five and 48GB of unified memory this laptop is a workhorse. It will do everything that you wanted to do without breaking a sweat. The only downside to the laptop is the 500 GB hard drive. All I did was buy a M.2SSD from Samsung the fastest I could get and then put it into a hub that plugs into the computer it now pull up things as if they were on the computer to begin with. This is a very nice product. this computer is fast, pulls up everything fast and also not to mention. The battery life literally last all day if you were going to buy any computer by this one, you will not be disappointed.

TOP NOTCH PERFORMANCE! This machine is truly remarkable. Not a single lag, smooth, fast, efficient. I’ve yet had a single issue and I’ve ran programs on top of programs without a single problem.

I use it mostly for recording in Logic Pro and for editing pictures and I feel I will have a machine that will last a very long time. It is ultra fast and editing has become an easier task. Highly recommended!

Great price and value at Bestbuy. I went for more memory for my design intensive work. Gets everything done super fast and have really good battery life.

From a performance standpoint - its overkill for my needs, screen quality is amazing and the sound is crystal clear with bass and treble thats evident. i needed a laptop that would last me over 10 years, just wished it came with a 1TB configuration at this pricepoint

Bought to upgrade my last Macbook from 2018. Love the specs & screen quality.

I replaced my old MacBook Pro and immediately noticed the difference. The sound is richer and the display is gorgeous! The best part was the overall speed improvement. I was working on huge spreadsheets with 500,000+ lines of data. Took forever to load and edit on the old laptop. Now the sheets load in seconds and I can have multiple spreadsheets open to crunch the data. I love this purchase!

Lap top is working great and had all pieces. There was a tiny scratch on the edge of the lap top which is why I’m giving 4 stars. I paid for excellent condition and that is supposed to ensure it is blemish free. Overall i decided not to return it and am happy with the product. Runs like new.

Exceptional laptop! I would recommend a larger processor, as I did, so many programs can run simultaneously without sacrificing operational speed. I am quite pleased.

Historically I’ve been a Linux and Windows power user with the only reason to use Apple being their touchpad and build quality. I always found their software to be buggy and unnecessarily different from the rest of the world. I switched to Mac full time back in 2021 and have watched them continue to become the primary device for developers. Any Windows reliance is resolved with a Parallels subscription with minimal performance degradation. I purchased the M4 Pro with 48 Gigs of memory and, to be frank, is the best device I’ve used in my career by a ling shot. If you’re on the fence because of the learning curve or price tag, pick up a Best Buy+ subscription and try it for 60 days to really get your feet wet. I can almost guarantee you won’t be returning it.
