I think this is an older model of printer. It came with a disc to upload the driver. Had to search on line for a while to find one as my computer does not have a CD player. I failed to realize it had no scanner so I returned it in person having bought it online. Best Buy was amazing - it took just a few minutes and no hassle.

Very disappointed with this printer. It took almost 2 hours to set it up. The cd that came with it is useless. After reading forums online, I finally printed off a test sheet. The Canon site was no help at all. I would have returned it, but I bought it on sale and didn’t install it immediately. Too late to return. Hopefully from here on out it will do the minimal tasks that I ask of it. I just needed something for basic black and white printing.

This printer filled the bill. Prints fast, 1200dpi, good wifi connection, and double-sided.

The printer is fast and quiet and I like the two-sided printing capability. I like Canon printers because they are top quality and the toner is not as expensive as other brands.

It’s a good printer all in all. The one problem with this printer is the software to install for wireless printing is a pretty big pain and not user-friendly at all.

Good thing is you can set up this printer wirelessly with few simple steps.

This was a great printer for my wife, who's a teacher and just needs to print BW prints. Way more reliable than INK JET Printer.

Will not connect to the wireless network. It takes hours to get it to connect.

Pretty good printer, terrible phone ap though, can not print with my phone. Buy the hp instead.

Purchased this for light duty use, So far, I have had no issues with its operation.

This is much to my surprise a great little printer. Its fast and clean producing documents. I have no worries at all this lasting a very long time. And so glad I got it on sale.

So I actually had to order two of these. I will say that the first one I ordered was open box. I think this is the first time I ordered anyways it did not even turn on. So that was frustrating, I ordered another one and I also had to return that so I would tell you a hard pass on this. So what I have done is I have taken a picture of the laser printer I did end up getting instead since this was returned that way you know where to get a great printer from

Great wireless laser printer. easy to install and connect to the laptop. This is my second canon laser printer.

Works just fine, without any glitches, so long as paper is inserted perfectly. No complaints, but have only had for 2 weeks.

This printer is so fast and so quiet. Our old printer sounds like its trying to land a jumbo jet, and takes several minutes to warm up and shut down. By the time it has decided to print the first page on fast print might I add, this new printer has already finished a 15 page, front and back print job. WE love it and should have upgraded much earlier! I can't recommend this printer enough!

Nice bw printer. A little complicated to get set-up but oncebup works fine. The conformation of the paper path could be better.
