The new Corsair link system makes it a seamless install. Make sure you're not like me and do your research. These do no work with the old Corsair hub. There is one included in the package

Lots of options to make a statement

I'm not a gamer but thought these looked cool. Installation is extremely simple and used one USB header on the motherboard. The iCUE software that comes with the fans lets you play with colors and animations. I spent an afternoon just playing around with it. You can even program the fans individually! I have two on time warp (cool feature) and one on a different setting.
