Eh. It’s kinda bulky and I like the idea of being able to put up a fence but the map is hard to manipulate and what if you wanted to take a walk.. you would have to constantly change the fence… just not for me and my dog.

Jazmine did a fantastic job getting a new collar on its way to me. My collars are still within the year warranty. It is a little concerning that we have replaced them 4 times now. The first 3 times the collars just stopped working because of technical issues. This last time was my dogs fault I believe and they still covered it. I did purchase the warranty on them but worried about the collars having to be replaced after the one year mark. Even at he reduced rate of 199.00 to replace can add up fast. Stay tuned. I will let you know what happens during year 2. Even with the few hiccups, it is the best collar on the market. Real time GPS is a no brainer. We used these as soon as they were 5 months old. After getting corrected with the emergency a couple times, they stay in the fence zone.

Love this collar! We live on a lake in the middle of the forest. There is no way we would install a fence and an underground fence wouldn't work. The dog is rehomed and has a few issues.. doesn't like people, stubborn as can be, and likes to chase cars. It took a little training, but now he stays safely in our yard and in the lake. We can set the fence up for the lake so he can go swimming and we don't have to worry about him swimming off. Perfect collar for our life and since he is a border collie, it allows him the freedom to run off all that energy on 1.5 acres of land. We are so happy we found this collar. The customer service has been fabulous too!

We have been using Halo for several years now and love it! It's the only thing our dog consistently obeys. She no longer visits the neighbor's cats or chases wildlife past the boundary. I did a lot of research before we bought and was still skeptical that our dog wouldn't pay any attention to it. Thankfully I was wrong We live on a wooded, lakefront acre and set her boundary into the shallow part of our lake so she could play in the water. I love the idea that you can pin point your own map on your phone to keep your dog safe. Milo our dog knows his boundaries, Very easy to do this on the Halo App. I never have to worry about Milo running through a fence anymore like a regular underground electric fence we were never lucky with those and I was always afraid Milo would run on the road and always thinking of the worst that could happen to him. But now with HALO it has brought us peace in our life and Milo safe!!! Also customer service is so kind and helpful very knowledgeable. I love the collar, although I can not set up a fence where I need it to be. Our neighbors home isn't even 10ft from our home. I haven’t been able to use the collar since purchasing due to several health issues these past few years. Three times I tried learning and getting set up. I've finally gotten through the learning and set uo the fence. To now find it will not work for us. I had my twin sister purchase a collar for her dog and it works fantastic and keeps him safely at home. Id still recommend, just make sure your home is farther awat from your neighbor.

I have been using the Halo collar and app for my GSD (Crash) on 26 + acres for 2 years. The collar has been invaluable in keeping her at home, while still giving her the freedom to roam our property. Halo support has always been helpful anytime I have contacted them. They take the time to answer my questions, and have even reached out for additional information when it was not readily available and gotten back with me in a timely manner! If you have a large acreage that's hard to fence, I definitely recommend the Halo collar!

I am very impressed with the halo collars I recently purchased. We have four dogs and had no problem fitting collars to any of them. The step by step training for the set up and use of the collars was very easy. I also chatted with the support team and that was super easy and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this product to keep your pets safe.

The Halo Collar is amazing. I got it for my labrador retriever and it allows him to run freely and safely withing the confines of yard. The posts (fence) are easy to set up and adjust as needed. The Halo support team is incredibly helpful in assisting with any questions or troubleshooting. I recently had a call in to Sierra who went above and beyond to assist me. I would highly recommend a Halo collar for your fur babies!

The Halo collar was a life saver. We moved to the country when our pup was 7 months old, and for some reason he decided to start chasing cars. We tried a radio collar and fence, epic fail. So we invested in the Halo collar. The satelite signal always works and the in App traing videos were great. In no time he took to the collar and is now safe at all times. I’ve been a customer of Halo Collars since August 31, 2021, and I can confidently say they are a fantastic company. We initially purchased this collar for a deaf Great Dane we adopted from a rescue, as we don't have a fence. From day one, their team has been incredibly friendly and always willing to help. We were so impressed with the product that we purchased two more collars for our other Danes. We live on 20 acres near a busy county road. Halo has made it so our dogs don't go near the road at all! Halo has also made it so our dogs can patrol our entire property without worry. I can easily check the app to see where they are located when they are out of eyesight. Peace of mind and a great product!

Halo has been amazing! With a large yard and no fence we were searching for an option for both our large and small dog. We did try a more expensive collar first, which didn't work as well and unnecessarily shocked our dog. Our dogs so quickly adapted to this, that it was effortless. We use it at home, at the lake-with a perimeter set up so our dogs can swim, at grandparent's homes, and at our friends to keep them in their yard, but away from their chickens. Setting a perimeter is as simple as taking out your phone and drawing a line. I don't have to be anywhere near the property when setting it up on the map. Therefore, I have set them up before we even arrive. It is also as simple to shrink or expand the ranges we have set for them.

This is the best thing I could have ever bought my dog without worrying about him being on a leash. Don’t have to worry about digging the yard up to put a wire in like the old style invisible fence.

The Halo Collar 3 has been so helpful in keeping our pup safe. I love that it is fully customizable from her fence line to her feedback settings. I use a couple beacons along with the collar to add a keep away zone inside her fence that allows me to keep her out of my garden. When we travel, we are able to set a fence around our campsite, or make a dog run on the go. The customer service team has been so helpful as well, any issue or question we've had has been resolved and answered in a timely and thoughtful way. I'd definitely recommend this collar to anyone with dogs!

This collar is amazing! I was able to train 2 dogs to stay on our land quickly. And the product is “portable” so you can set up a virtual fence anywhere you take your dog using gps location.

I really like the Halo collar for several reasons. I love the fact that you can have different fences and the ease of making them. I have had several other fences, two different ones that you bury and three that were wireless, and none of them really worked with my property, like my dog could go in the back yard and not the front, or vice versa. With the Halo he can use the entire property, and also can go basically anywhere with me and have a fence to protect him. I also like to be able to look at my phone and see exactly where he is and I like to recall him by sending a whistle, and he knows to come to the back door, so far I love it.

I'm enjoying training our Corgi-mini Aussie mix with the Halo collar and app. We're spending some fun time together and she is learning her boundaries with the beacon and to return to me with Cesar's whistle. Sierra B was very helpful today when I contacted the Halo Dog Park for the 1st time and answered all my questions easily. I really appreciate the support and ease of use with this product and am looking forward to completing my dog's training so she can enjoy roaming our 4 acres safely!

I want to start by saying the Halo collar has been a real game changer for Bodhi our 3 year old golden retriever. He has been wearing the collar for 9 months now. It’s been a big improvement on both our quality of lives. Before the collar he was mostly contained to our fenced in backyard. Now he has access to 2 acres to roam freely and is very respectful of the boundaries the collar creates for him. I encourage anyone thinking of buying this collar to do your homework. It’s not perfect but I can assure you based on my experience the pros definitely outweigh the cons. In the 9 months of ownership I did have a battery issue that required a replacement of the collar. Nicholas from the halo support team was very helpful in getting this issue resolved.
