The texture is grippy without pulling your pockets inside out nor is it a pocket lint magnet. Still, I would remove it fron your phone at least once a month for a good cleaning. I’ve had mine since launch day and it has not started to yellow. Works like OEM with any magsafe accessories and has plenty of hold strength.
