I have wanted to switch to a gas range ever since I bought my house and I finally got my wish! I decided to look for double oven models as I do a lot of baking and the LG had a good capacity on the upper and lower, which was important as the ovens are completely separate (unlike the ones that share a door and just have a heat shield between the levels.
I love the range portion with the various max temperatures. The Ultra burner boils water super fast!
I am giving it a 4 because the top oven heats pretty unevenly. The front is about the temperature you ask for, but the back gets much warmer so you need to turn your baking sheets. The bottom over seems to do better, especially if you are using Convection

This LG double oven has been great so far. No issues. One minor annoyance is the stovetop is not so easy to clean.

After much conversation, I finally was able to convince my wife that this was a great oven. She was very skeptical, but by the second day she was so enthusiastic you would have thought it was her idea to purchase it. Could not be happier.

We had looked over many ranges, opening doors, turning nobs, nob mounting, burner and grate construction, and features. We had an electric, single door oven before but wanted to switch to gas. This is simply the best 30" range of this type you can get at this price point. The dual ovens were great over the holidays, keeping food warm in one and cooking in the other. I had no problem putting a 17 pound ham in the upper. The cook top has an oval burner for the included griddle iron, which distributes heat more evenly than a central round burner. We had black appliances already in the kitchen and the black stainless option for this range seems to really go well with them and it doesn't show any fingerprints. The top surface is easy to clean and so are the burners. Overall construction was thoughtful and well done. Even the oven's interior with the bright blue finish made for easy viewing inside. A nice touch. I'm no chef, but there is probably a bit of a learning curve in using a convection oven. The lower range uses convection.. My first bake in it was an apple crisp. My old electric cooked it 35 minutes, applying a golden brown highlights to the topping. The convection took another 10 minutes and left the topping a uniform beige color. Otherwise, the results were the same. I still need to compare a bake in the top section. If you're buying a gas range for the first time and you're replacing an electric range, take careful measurements and check your gas outlet's location relative lower backside of this range, or any other gas range you might be considering. I had a gas line brought up through the floor and the plumbers did an excellent job getting it as close to the wall as they could. Even still, the range still stands 2 1/2 inches away from the back wall due to the gas pipe's interference with the back end of the range.

I have been living with a temporary kitchen (without a range) for the last two-and-a-half years. Yes, the fixer-upper project extended beyond my original plans. I researched for almost six months before deciding on this particular range. I knew I had to have the blue interior on the ovens and minimum five burners. Based on reviews and cost analysis, I chose LG over Samsung. I couldn't be happier with my choice.
The 5 burners are so convenient and the griddle makes perfect pancakes. The power burner boils water super fast. I love having two ovens and I'm very pleased that one of the ovens is smaller and makes perfect chocolate chip cookies. The slide out rack in the bottom oven is very convenient, especially for heavier items. The black stainless finish is beautiful with my new grey cabinets and silver mist sink. The finish doesn't show smudges as bad as the regular stainless. The up top controls on the back of the range are very simple to operate. The timer plays a happy tune when finished. It makes me smile. I have managed to use all five burners at once which made it obvious that I need to install a vent hood. Still looking for a black stainless one. Finally, the three grates above the stove burners are very sturdy and appear that they will give years of service. Best Buy delivery was perfect. Please note that the delivery men can't hook-up the gas range for you but it was not difficult to do.
Bottom line -I couldn't be more pleased. This baby has everything I was looking for and it looks impressive and very high end.

So far I love this stove. I like having the double oven and use the top smaller one for most baking so you don't have to heat up as much space. A lot of the reviews said the knobs get turned on easily by accident when you bump them. The knobs do turn easy but I have not had a problem with it yet. Looks great in the kitchen with the stainless front. Only wish it could have had a stainless top as well.

The stove and both ovens by its self are great to use. I appreciate being able to cook and bake two different things in the two ovens at two different temps. It warms up quickly, heats evenly and very efficient. The stove has very large grating on top which is also pretty cool. There is a griddle that I can use while I am cooking that comes in handy. It's attractive looking also. If I had to give it a con, it does take a little effort to clean. (But just a little) The spatters seem to smear and I need to resort to using stainless steel cleaner on it to get the shine back with out the smear..

Over all, I am very pleased with this stove and double oven. I am having a hard time adjusting to the different size burners - the largest is the right front burner which I use the most because of being located near the countertop and find when I fix eggs in a smaller skillet, the center takes a while longer to cook. The convection oven is awesome. The top non-convection oven doesn't seem to get to the right temperature; however, there are instructions on how to calibrate the temperature in the instruction manual which we will try. I agree with the other posts about the knobs being too easy to turn on and as a safety feature this should be fixed. I really like the center burner for larger pots and grilling. It is very easy to clean. I'm looking forward to using it over the holiday season.

The LG brand represents quality, value and style. We made the decision of the combined ovens to increase capacity and allow for multiple cooking temperatures to build a complete meals delivered hot. The bonus is the range is beautiful. LG is a powerful brand and Best Buy is a surpurb retailer, combined the consumer is the real winner.

Nothing earth shatteringly new here as compared to numerous other reviews on this product which has been out a few years. The convenience of having two ovens cooking simultaneously at varying temps of more than a few degrees is awesome, The gas burners on the cooktop work great and the high BTU burner really puts on the heat FAST! The low BTU simmering burner is just as nice keeping a low heat on small pots. Aesthetically, it's a very good looking product.
With that being said, it doesn't seem that LG has really addressed any of the issues identified early on, notably:
1. Yes the knobs can be accidentally bumped to release gas without lighting the burners. They're in front & low -- need to watch this closely, especially if you have kids.
2. The upper oven cooks unevenly, hotter in the back/cooler in the front. As such, baking is almost impossible to do well up top, from getting a uniform rise on cakes & muffins, to an even brown color on biscuits, to simply cooking a sheet of cookies evenly from row to row. This oven is best served for foods utilizing heavy cooking pans, cast dutch ovens, etc. that can assist in spreading heat around roasts, casseroles, etc. Plus, with those, you can open the door & rotate the pan if necessary without ruining the product (e.g. baked goods). It's too bad because being able to bake multiple sweets simultaneously was a goal of ours.
3. The lower oven's convection system ("Pro Bake") is much better at baking, but still not perfect. The fan, which is used for both convection and to move air for traditional oven cooking is nice and helps a lot with evening out temperatures, although it's not perfect either. The extendable rack is a great feature for removing most items down low, but it comes at a price -- it eats up about 1.5" of vertical space, so if you have a large pan or food item you're cooking, like a turkey, you probably can't use it due to space reasons. And if you can't use it, that means you have to bend down even lower, in an oven that already opens up a couple inches off the floor, to get out the oversized (and probably extra-heavy) item that you had to remove the rack for in the first place. Not a huge problem if you're young. Think twice before buying if you have back problems.
4.) Nothing has been done to improve the stainless steel finish. While stainless finishes in general aren't awesome for minimizing fingerprints, LG's finish is simply bad. And this range's unique angled knob panel out front seems to reflect every little smudge right into the eyes of anybody nearby so we're constantly wiping it down.
Wrapping up, we purchased this appliance to match our other LG products and thought this double oven range would be great. It definitely has it's positives, especially with the gas burners up top, but I don't recommend the range overall, because why buy an expensive double oven if neither of the ovens is that great? Maybe the smaller size of the two ovens in general contribute to its uneven temperatures due to airflow or other reasons; maybe it's LG's design; I don't know. So if you think a standard range-size double oven is a good idea and you want to try it, think twice before doing so (consider buying a traditional single oven with a convection microwave instead -- still some issues there, but at least you'd be able to bake two items at once). If you absolutely have to have a double oven and don't need a matching LG product like we did, I'd strongly encourage you to look at other available products before making your decision.
Bottom line. Great idea, great features, marginal execution.

Pros: Love the double oven.
Easy to operate - user friendly
Easy to clean
Cons: Haven't quite mastered the ovens - seems the top oven is a little hotter than the reading and things brown quickly if the bottom oven is also on.
The timer alarm has a quite unique song - that drives my daughter crazy - haven't had a chance to see if we can change it.

We absolutely love this stove. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. We just had it installed last week and I've already tried almost every setting with ease. I didn't realize how much I would appreciate having two available timers (and the fact that the LG notification is a pleasant little song, rather than the standard stress-inducing beeping)! I was initially a little worried about the space available in each oven with a double oven model but both offer plenty of space with several rack placement options. The extended pull out rack is convenient for getting dishes in and out of the bottom stove. Both ovens come to temp quickly with the bottom oven heating to 450 in about 7 - 8 mins and the top oven heating even quicker. The five burners are powerful and I love the look of the front control area. Great product!
