Packaging: 5/5 Build: 3/5 Design: 5/5 Performance: 4/5 My initial reaction is that this laptop is incredibly light. I figured they must have sacrificed something (battery life? case strength?) to keep the weight so minimal. But this is actually a reasonably functional 17” laptop that, at 3 pounds 2 ounces, barely weighs more than my 14” MacBook Air. I was pleased to see that the packaging was minimalistic and almost all made of easily recyclable cardboard. The laptop came with a small USB-C charger/cable. Presumably the laptop will charge with any standard high-speed charger even though the manufacturer warns against using any other charger. The battery provides around 2 hours of gaming and at least 4-6 hours or light use. Like any Intel laptop, it heats up noticeably even just sitting there, but the heat is nowhere near as bad as some older models I’ve seen. The case itself is a little bit flexible, which seems to be the only major drawback from the lightweight design. When using a touchpad, I prefer to turn off touch-to-click and rely on the mechanical click so that I get the haptic feedback of feeling the click and avoid accidental clicks when I actually just wanted to move the cursor a tiny bit. That turned out not to work with this touchpad because of poor construction. I could only press the button toward the bottom half of the touchpad; if I tried to click near the top the case and touchpad would flex alarmingly before registering a click. So I decided to suffer with the tap-to-click in those situations when I don’t have the luxury of a separate mouse. Having a 17” display on a laptop is a luxury, but it’s one that I can definitely get behind when the laptop’s overall weight isn’t a burden to carry. This display has a high resolution with 1600 lines, good brightness, and average contrast. The Intel Arc graphics are surprisingly capable, making playing games possible even though this is not really a gaming laptop. The built-in speakers sound halfway decent, but for some reason they are mounted on the bottom of the case. They sound best when the laptop is sitting on a table or desk. Sound quality is wildly different if I hold the laptop on my lap, and unfortunately it feels like people around me can hear the sound better than I can. I guess that’s good if you want to share, but it seems awkward. I’d prefer that the best listening spot would be for the person in front of the screen, not someone sitting across the room. Overall performance is not super impressive for everyday use. The Intel Core Ultra 7 is advertised as kind of a specialty processor, so I expect that it would do best for high-load parallel-processing tasks like running on-device LLM models or doing media processing. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to take advantage of this processor in the future, but for average use a cheaper, more general purpose CPU would probably be more economical and provice just as much performance. That said, the combination of 1TB SSD, big display, and excellent integrated graphics make this a very usable machine for any purpose.

A very lightweight and performant computer. This machine weights very little in comparison to many other major brands, which is perfect for travel. The 17" screen assists with handling many items on the go. I admit, Iwas leery to buy an LG laptop, as I had never heard of them making Laptops before, but after using it for a few days I can safely say it performs just as well as many HP and Dell computers I have set up recently, and even compares to some of the Lenovo machines I have rolled out. So far so good, will update review if anything changes.

I love the full keyboard, I love the speed, and I love how big the monitor is, but the laptop is so light!!! It has two regular USB ports and I bought an adapter for more because I use the palm drives for video editing. No issues with my laptop so far. I am very pleased with the full sized keyboard.

It's the only PC with a matt screen and I need that, so it works for me. It's a good laptop but it needs a better speaker, camera and connectivity to the internet. However, the battery life is ok and processing seems good. No laptop is perfect but this one is pretty good.

We have only had it for a month but I’m impressed how quickly it loads pages and the ability to navigate the internet. We don’t play games on it but it is so much faster than the previous laptop we owned. Not to mention it’s the lightest on the market.

17 inch screen with decent resolution at high refresh rate offers comfortable working environments. I use extended display then haven’t observed graphics issue at all. Intel core 7 and 32GB lpddr5x performs top tier among classes, not to mention its rigidity.

After the hard drive failed on my HP Spectre, I knew it was time for a serious upgrade—both in performance and storage. I also wanted a machine with an Intel i9-level processor and enough memory to future-proof my workflow. After researching high-end ultrabooks, I landed on the LG Gram 17" Copilot+ PC with the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD—and I couldn’t be happier. What I Love: Featherlight and Solid: Despite the massive 17" touchscreen, this laptop is shockingly light. It feels like carrying a 13” ultrabook, but with all the screen real estate I need for multitasking and media work. Performance is Snappy: The new Core Ultra 7 chip handles everything I throw at it—photo editing, multitasking with dozens of tabs, and even some light video work—with ease and zero lag. The built-in AI features and Copilot+ integration are an added bonus that makes daily productivity more efficient. Ample Storage and RAM: With 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, I can run multiple demanding apps simultaneously and store tons of files without blinking. It’s a night-and-day difference from my old setup. Gorgeous Display: The 17” WQXGA screen is crisp, bright, and touch-capable. Great for working on visuals or just enjoying Netflix in razor-sharp detail. What Could Be Better (but not deal-breakers): Keyboard Feel: It’s decent, but not as tactile as some premium ultrabooks I’ve used. Still, it’s comfortable once you adjust. Webcam: It's functional for video calls but could use an upgrade in clarity for a laptop at this price point. Final Thoughts: The LG Gram 17” Touchscreen Copilot+ PC hits a perfect sweet spot of power, portability, and productivity. For anyone needing serious specs in an ultra-light form factor—and who’s tired of dealing with overheating or storage bottlenecks—this is a fantastic choice. It’s exceeded my expectations, and I’m confident it’ll be a reliable workhorse for years to come.

I was looking for a new laptop with a large screen as I work with a lot of spreadsheets and reports I have been very pleased with the LG Gram 17". It has the large screen I was looking for, along with the touch screen. And I especially like how surprisingly lightweight the Gram is as well. I haven't had the chance to take while traveling but looking forward for the experience.

Didn’t know LG made laptops until I read about this one on consumer reports. Keyboard is different from my old Alienware but that’s just getting acclimated. Light weight. Easy setup, Fast with a great monitor. Was even on sale. Extremely happy with purchase.

My 5 year old ASUS suddenly died so I walked into a best buy store and picked this up at a discounted price of $1300. It met or exceeded all my criteria, including at least 16" screen, at least 1 TB storage and at least 16 GB RAM, and I couldn't have asked for more. It has a great battery life, very receptive touchscreen, and can't believe how light it is! I use it mainly for work and it's been excellent. I hope it lasts!

I bought this as a replacement for and HP that I had for years. My HP had many accessories that you cannot find in the new laptops. While more expensive than the HP Omni Pro, understandably as it has a 32Gb in lieu of 16 ,easy enough, it also has more ports than other brands. I dont take my laptop out of my personal space, but the weight of 3.2 lbs is pretty cool. I am not a techy person, but this one works great and super fast.

This is my second LG Gram. I love the 17” screen and light weight. It’s so light I sometimes have to check to see if its in my bag because it feels empty. The procesor and 32Gb are more than sufficient for my needs. I definitely would recommend this is you are looking for a good light weight laptop.
