I was looking for a laptop for my parents as their current one is too old to be able to upgrade it to Windows 11. Their requirements were that it needed to be light, the screen easy to read (screen size), a good battery life, and wont roast you temperature wise while being reasonably quiet. My requirements for it was decent performance with a modern processor, integrated graphics only necessary, and a minimum 32gb of RAM. This machine fits all of those requirements perfectly. My parents have been very happy with this purchase so far. I had looked at reviews of other options in the same class of laptops, but most had issues with overheating and fan noise. This was the only one that did not and was recommended by quite a few youtube tech reviewers that I follow. If I have one complaint about the laptop, it is that the RAM is soldered; but is the norm for ultra thin laptops.

Great laptop. Fast, clear, good memory, processing, great value / price. The product is good for all the reasons mentioned above. . . But. . . The real value is found in the associates that assisted us with questions and answers for the best fit for what we needed. The knowledge, the genuine concern for us as consumers was so noticeable that it sets a new benchmark for other's to try to achieve. I know for us personally? There are no others that come close to Best Buy. Dont even take into consideration the Geek Squad . . That even elevates it to even higher levels.

After heavy 16 inch Lenovo Yoga 2-1, I need a lightweight laptop that I can care around. This is big screen and light. Don't waste money on Surface Pro. I got SP 7. Microsoft computers are make to break. For the same price and quality, I got the Best Deal and Windows Laptop. I consider MacBook Air 15 inches. This is on sales $999 32gram. Sound is not great as Lenovo or Macbook. This is a GEM that this 63 years old woman can take to coffee shop that I can see. I can't see anything on Microsoft Surface Pro because of my eyes. I need a big screen for Meetup Zoom group, watch movies, typing and reading. I have been wanting LG Gram since the first one came out at $1999. This is on sales two days ago. I ordered it and pickedup without a 2nd thought. I love it. Usually I take a 2 weeks to a month searching for all laptops online, Microcenters (read and compare all models). This one, I don't need to do that. I'm very happy. It meets my need of light weight and great deat 32GRAM, 1 TB, 128 Graphic and I7. Quiet laptop.

It's such a perfect laptop. The weight is not burdensome at all with one hand, it is light, and it also has a touchscreen function, making it very convenient. The screen resolution is also good. Unless you're going to play high-performance games, I don't think there's a laptop like this for work or light games.

Last year I wanted a 17 inch laptop so I bought a gaming laptop. I was really disappointed in how long the battery lasted without the charger attached. Also the weight was another thing that bothered me more than I anticipated. So when Best Buy had a great deal on this 17 inch Gram I jumped on it! I'm very happy with this purchase! It is amazingly lightweight. Also the battery lasts more than twice as long as the one it replaces. I don't game, but it seems more than powerful enough to handle any task I need. I don't really have any negatives to mention yet.

Love this laptop. The only reason I could think of are very personal. The size of the screen is amazing. It is so light!!! However the trade off is i need a new tote and im having a harder time finding ones that accommodate the size that arent laptop bag specific. And the keyboard gets me too which is also size related and universal it seems for the larger laptops. Also might be very typical but I feel like the battery does not last as long as my smaller macbook i replaced with this laptop, and i havent beem able to charge my computer with any other charger than the one it came with which maybe future me will be thankful for... Since those are more of preference or personal things still feel its 5 star worthy. ☺️

I Truly love this laptop. If you need fast speed, lots of memory, touch screen, if you are a day trader like me and need your lap to running smoothly for your trading like on ninja trader or metaqoutes this is the one for you. the large screen is great for all things social media, trading, spreadsheets, presentations. Now the biggest bonus of them all is the freaking weight. when i say this is the lightest laptop I ever held large and small its insane. I just hosted a party and I literally have everyone hold it just because i cant even believe how light it is. one hand no problem. Another excellent feature is the eye saving feature it has its own installed blue light feature you can turn off if you forgot your own blue light glasswear.

Packaging: 5/5 Build: 3/5 Design: 5/5 Performance: 4/5 My initial reaction is that this laptop is incredibly light. I figured they must have sacrificed something (battery life? case strength?) to keep the weight so minimal. But this is actually a reasonably functional 17” laptop that, at 3 pounds 2 ounces, barely weighs more than my 14” MacBook Air. I was pleased to see that the packaging was minimalistic and almost all made of easily recyclable cardboard. The laptop came with a small USB-C charger/cable. Presumably the laptop will charge with any standard high-speed charger even though the manufacturer warns against using any other charger. The battery provides around 2 hours of gaming and at least 4-6 hours or light use. Like any Intel laptop, it heats up noticeably even just sitting there, but the heat is nowhere near as bad as some older models I’ve seen. The case itself is a little bit flexible, which seems to be the only major drawback from the lightweight design. When using a touchpad, I prefer to turn off touch-to-click and rely on the mechanical click so that I get the haptic feedback of feeling the click and avoid accidental clicks when I actually just wanted to move the cursor a tiny bit. That turned out not to work with this touchpad because of poor construction. I could only press the button toward the bottom half of the touchpad; if I tried to click near the top the case and touchpad would flex alarmingly before registering a click. So I decided to suffer with the tap-to-click in those situations when I don’t have the luxury of a separate mouse. Having a 17” display on a laptop is a luxury, but it’s one that I can definitely get behind when the laptop’s overall weight isn’t a burden to carry. This display has a high resolution with 1600 lines, good brightness, and average contrast. The Intel Arc graphics are surprisingly capable, making playing games possible even though this is not really a gaming laptop. The built-in speakers sound halfway decent, but for some reason they are mounted on the bottom of the case. They sound best when the laptop is sitting on a table or desk. Sound quality is wildly different if I hold the laptop on my lap, and unfortunately it feels like people around me can hear the sound better than I can. I guess that’s good if you want to share, but it seems awkward. I’d prefer that the best listening spot would be for the person in front of the screen, not someone sitting across the room. Overall performance is not super impressive for everyday use. The Intel Core Ultra 7 is advertised as kind of a specialty processor, so I expect that it would do best for high-load parallel-processing tasks like running on-device LLM models or doing media processing. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to take advantage of this processor in the future, but for average use a cheaper, more general purpose CPU would probably be more economical and provice just as much performance. That said, the combination of 1TB SSD, big display, and excellent integrated graphics make this a very usable machine for any purpose.

Purchased this at the end of August. Waited to do a review until I could fully try all the features. This is an amazing laptop. The weight and battery are amazing. I didn't want a bulky heavy laptop. In addition, I was looking for a laptop with a strong battery life. LG hits it out of the park on both. I don't use the touch screen all that much but it is nice to have for some people. Keypad is essential for those working with numbers. Ram and display exceed expecations.

This is my 2nd LG Gram. My 4-5 yo has been acting up and needed a replacement. I love the LG Gram, great specs and I love that it weighs just over 3#. I travel often and when I pick up other models I know I don't want any more weight than necessary. I use the number keyboard alot for work and it has a great screen. Also good battery life.

I selected this based on features I was seeking, e.g. up to date tech and lightweight and screen size. I have used for 1 month and have been very happy with it. It is indeed lightweight and the battery stays charged for a long time. It is easy to use and I find things about it daily that I appreciate. I shopped around for the best price and Best Buy was significantly lower. I was concerned about transferring data from my previous laptop and most especially from an old desktop HP. Everything went smoothly.

Didn’t know LG made laptops until I read about this one on consumer reports. Keyboard is different from my old Alienware but that’s just getting acclimated. Light weight. Easy setup, Fast with a great monitor. Was even on sale. Extremely happy with purchase.

I love the full keyboard, I love the speed, and I love how big the monitor is, but the laptop is so light!!! It has two regular USB ports and I bought an adapter for more because I use the palm drives for video editing. No issues with my laptop so far. I am very pleased with the full sized keyboard.

Bought this as a backup laptop as our main laptop has a cracked case and we try not to close the cover on it. We were taking a trip and knew we would need to do work while we were gone. This LG gram, has now become the go to for our needs. The pucture is great, it seems to keep up well with our design work, and although we dont use it for "sound" purposes, other tyan tutorial videos occasionally, the speakers are great compared to our other laptops. Also our other laptop we are lucky to get an hour or two from the battery(since the day we bought it) but this Lg gram we have had upto 6 hours on battery, multiple times and still over half charged.

I mainly use it for work purposes and browsing but I also dable in some simulation games on my free time. This gram has no problem running Manor Lords or FS with good graphics and fps. So light compared to my 5 year old Dell.

A very lightweight and performant computer. This machine weights very little in comparison to many other major brands, which is perfect for travel. The 17" screen assists with handling many items on the go. I admit, Iwas leery to buy an LG laptop, as I had never heard of them making Laptops before, but after using it for a few days I can safely say it performs just as well as many HP and Dell computers I have set up recently, and even compares to some of the Lenovo machines I have rolled out. So far so good, will update review if anything changes.

Love how fast it is with the 7 Ultra Intel Processor. It is also super light. Love having a big 17 inch touch screen.
