I worked with software for nearly 40 years (yes, they had it back then!) The old paradigm was higher product cost and lower maintenance/renewal. I dislike the idea where the vendor will auto-renew the product (for your convenience) at more than twice the shelf price.

Thank you McAfee! My computer was dragging and I did not know why. It would not allow me to do updates either. I installed McAfee and found that I had so many viruses. My computer works fine now.

Well worth it. Priced well, scans websites before the user enters that actual site. Is the difference between getting viruses, Malaware that slows down computer and causes damage that will cost a lot more.

McAfee antivirus is cost effective antivirus for up to 8-10 devices and works well. Only downside is large size of the RAM is used to install this antivirus.

McAfee won't let you cancel, slow, inaccurate cs!

How do I give MINUS stars? This was a completely horrible experience! First, after purchasing the subscription, I did not get an activation code from Best Buy. I tried for several days to download the security protection product, spoke with McAfee on chat and voice phone. McAfee customer service chat is inefficient and inaccurate. Best Buy referred me back to McAfee as they both referred back and forth to each other. If it didn't consume so many hours trying to get an activation code and successful installation, it would be laughable to experience such incompetency. After holding for hours for McAfee, it will now take them 3 weeks to process the cancellation and refund request, of course, that will take the refund cancellation process past 30 days which will disqualify the refund. JUST DON'T BUY IT! They won't allow a cancellation, they have their slow methods for denying the request to cancel. As my hardware tech told me, this product is not the correct one for Mac.

We're sorry you had issues receiving your activation code. This product is a digital product so you should've received your activation code in your email. Please check your junk folder as sometimes they go there. Once you received your order you need to visit www.mcafee.com/activate and enter your activation code. Unfortunately, if you'd like to cancel and refund your order you'll need to speak with Best Buy as that is where you purchased it. We apologize again for the inconvenience.
