I purchased this laptop to game on the go and it does just that on the screen it plays every game on high and ultra settings 1080p and 1200p I have it hooked up to the TV in my living room and it can play every game at on hight/ultra 1440p and most games at 4k with dlss I never needed to use frame Gen not once I would recommend replasting it to fix any heating issues but after that runs solid 70-75c no undervolting no overclocking needed it will play all your games just fine

This laptop is fantastic. I use it mostly for 3D modeling in blender and game dev in Unity since I travel a lot and need performance on the go.
It performs extremely well. According to the blender benchmark data, the 4080 performs about on par with a desktop 3080. I’ve used it with fairly intensive games and it performs as expected as well. I haven’t had any issues with overheating, although my gaming sessions are usually a couple hours max. With blender and unity open, it has no issues doing both at the same time all day, even in extremely high poly or intensive scenes. The screen is really nice too. Easy to stare at while working long hours. It also switches between the integrated graphics card and the 4080 depending on the program so it doesn’t waste power or battery life keeping the 4080 on unnecessarily. Super handy.
I upgraded mine with some more RAM since the stock 16gb was a little low for my specific needs but most people it is fine. It also has space for another nvme drive. The fans can get a bit loud, but that’s not really a downside considering everything else this has going for it.
If you’re into PC gaming or 3d modeling at all and need something you can take with you and still play the latest stuff then this is the laptop for you.

Pros: Great for high frame per second and build quality is great and temperature control is great.. Cons: loud fans when playing demanding games only usually and the laptop screen could be better like if it was UHD instead of Full HD+ and better black levels but you could always use a external monitor, the laptop has HDMI 2.1 and thunderbolt 4.. recommend: laptop cooler for better temperatures if needed

Not a bad price for a 4080 laptop. It gets the job done for most everything I have thrown at it thus far. The screen could be better but only if your playing in any res setting above 1080p.
