We found the Owlet - Dream Duo to be the perfect tool for our new grandson. Our family has reunited under one roof and our daughter is a new, young mother with an infant. She has found this baby monitor to be a huge peace of mind for her. The baby has just now begun sleeping longer and the foot wrap allows her to monitor his movements and the HD camera gives her access to view him without disrupting his sleep. PROS - Owlet's innovation and design - High Definition camera with magnetic base and multiple angles - Owlet app is user-friendly and full of useful features - The foot sock (available in 2 sizes for growth) allows additional data and alerts CONS - None at this time

This monitor gets my recommendation for its completeness and features. As a starting point, the device is easy to install. It was quick to download the app, plug everything in, and follow the step-by-step instructions in the app. The base install was about 10 minutes. There are a couple oddities in that the the camera connection to the WiFi shows as "fair" rather than good - even though the WiFi signal appears as very good for all other devices and apps running in the household. Occassionally there is notable lag from when there is motion in the crib and when the video streams via the app. There is feedback (screeching noise) on the app if the phone gets too close to the camera. That was a quick lesson learned. The camera mic is very sensitive - by default it picks up sound from across the house. Sensitivity adjustments seem to have helped. With that said, the picture quality is very good. And yes, the monitoring bracelet provides peace of mind. Overall, this one gets 5 stars for performance and features.

If you want people to buy this product then bring the price down. It is unaffordable. This IS for babies!!! It's like saying sorry you can't afford to protect your baby by buying this monitor. It's just wrong to gouge parents when they need the money for baby food and formula. This is simply not that high tech to justify the gouge.

The Owlet Dream Sock works great however the Baby Monitor is by far the worst working wireless device. First its only 2.4Ghz which means if you have been using any newer routers post 2014 youre going to have to reconfigure all your networks. And even then still zero gerente it will even connect. Worst money EVER spent. Do not by the Camera. Google "Owelet Cam not connecting to wifi" and see that some users had to downgrade security protocols manually set channel widths just to get it to maybe connect.

Easy to set up, it's set up nicely , monitors baby well I have no worries.

Do not recommend. The camera lags and always says not connected. I had to fix and change my wifi for it to function so it worked good for a while then started to lag again. Way too slow. Always freezing. Literally a waste of so much money.

Owlet recently made changes to this oroduct with their latest update and "rebranding" by removing features like the oxygen monitoring without giving any warning to previous owners that their latest update would do so and with no way to revert back to the older software. Camera will randomly disconnect from wifi with no notification, the quality of the camera is about as good as a VHS tape from 1994, the sock is unreliable for actually tracking your child's sleeping patterns. You can find better for much less, don't buy this product and support a company that can give you the bait and switch any time it feels like.

GARBAGE! Always says the camera is offline. Don’t buy this camera. Baby safety is so important and don’t invest your money into this. Tried everything to fix it and it’s going in the trash.

Lots of tech issues, you are better off physically checking on your child. Not reliable goes out a lot and it is not my internet. I would also just avoid Best Buy in general

App is unreliable. The sound will just stop working in the middle of the night (great for new parent’s anxiety levels). The camera is positioned very close to our Wi-Fi router but routinely cuts out. Plus rhey recently made changes to the product so some features no longer work and didnt give any sort of notice. I would advise against this product.
