It has been working great for me. Quality of the audio captured is really great. Easy to tuck in. I have a Senheisser AVX, but the clip from the mic keep disappearing, and the transmitter is bulky. This is so easy to use. Just clip it on. Only gripe is, immediately you cannot use it on a professional Video camera. It needs a 1/8th to XLR. Have not done very long time tests to check the battery capacity, but 2 hours is easy.

I have been an audio production engineer for well over 20 years, built million dollar recording studios, and done live sound, as well as videography for a long time. This is the easiest wireless lav system that I have ever used, and also one of the best quality. RØDE is kicking everyone's butt.

The Rode Wireless GO II has been one of the best investments I have made for audio. The 32 bit audio is super clear and the internal recording feature has saved me more times than I can count. Even after using them for two years they still work flawlessly and give me peace of mind on every shoot. They are compact, easy to use, and deliver professional quality sound consistently. For creators who care about reliable audio this system is a must have.

Need to buy RODE USB-C to USB-C/Lightning Cable

Nice product - requires some setup and firmware updates. Uses software downloaded via app or computer.
Leaves iPhone w lightning cable connector users high and dry! Cannot use USB-C to lightning cable you have at home...requires RODE USB-c to lightning cable not available ...so had to order from Amazon so if you need to use it NOW you can't. Also it DOES require a cable the receiver DOES NOT pair with your phone.

I’ve done a lot of research on the two must talked about wireless mic’s on the market and they are the DJI wireless mic and the Rode GO2 wireless mic. It really was a toss up to which was the better mic system. But with due respect to the Rodes wireless mic. The DJI was not only just a tad bit better. But it’s system was more convenient, accessible and more practical. But the DJI was too expensive for me to get. So I ended up settling for the Rode GO2. Please don’t get me wrong. The Rode in comparison to the DJI was extremely close in audio. It was to me. Almost difficult to tell the difference. Yet, the Rode GO2 I found at Best Buy for close to $100.00 less than the DJI and when I synced the DJI-RC to the Rode. The audio was nice and clear. I am satisfied with the Rode but, I still would like to get the DJI because of its quality and convenience and accessibility. Thanks. Eric

These Rode Wireless-Go II mics are awesome. I purchased them to use while working in news. Perfect for interviews and run & gun setups as well. Audio recording quality is great. Battery lasts a long time on these little guys. I would be able to set them and forget them during a 5 1/2 hour live broadcast and they’d still have juice left over. Customer support with the Rode techs are very good also.

Terrific Wireless Mic Setup For All Video Creators

This is my first wireless audio setup after getting my new Sony A7Siii and it's been fantastic. I was debating whether to get this vs the new DJI setup and went with this one when it was determined that it has a lower noise floor vs the DJI units. The internal audio recording is a godsend in case you have wireless connectivity issues and audio cuts out to the camera and you can download the internal audio and fix it in post.
And Rode has been constantly updating the firmware in these things so you get plenty of improvements over time. I ended up getting the Rode Lavalier Mics to go with this so that I can hide these in pockets or clip them to belts.
Audio quality has been great so far and I have not experienced and wireless issues but I don't stray far from the subjects when I shoot video.
