3rd installment to the franchise. Does not yet have the multiplayer feature as in the past games, but still fun. You know command a while crew of characters to complete your missions.

This franchise has always been a letdown but at least the first 2 worked… this was a glitchy mess. Right off the bat if you change your equipment it is impossible to take it off again. At least I got this on sale

As of the time of this review, I could not install the game to my PS5
to play it. It copies it to 78%, stops, then I get an error. I've read that
Ubisoft is at fault here and someday they'll fix it. It may work for
you but I doubt it. Be aware of this issue when buying!

I just got my package today. When I moved it, the disk was loose before I opened the package. As soon as I opened the package, the game was partially opened. Honestly I’m disappointed.

I bought this for black Friday for $30 as there was no way I'd spend $60 on this game. I've been a huge Watch Dogs fan since the first one and enjoyed it's dark, brooding tone - I actually liked Aidan as a character and his motivation. Then I played and thoroughly enjoyed Watch Dogs 2 as they improved the mechanics and had an even more fun protagonist in Marcus, and watch dogs 2 was just more light hearted and fun overall. But as many reviewers have pointed out, and as Ubisoft has started making obvious, they're releasing mediocre products with in-game monetization top of mind while incorporating the same tired game mechanics over and over. I really hoped Watch Dogs Legion would break that trend with its new "play as anyone" gimic but it falls way flat. The same tired hacking mechanics return, while driving suffers, shooting is quite wonky, and traversal is quite janky. The idea of playing as anyone seems cool but when all it takes is a few lines of dialogue to get someone to join a group destined to change the London for the better, I mean that's hardly believable! I'm a huge story-focused gamer, so when there's no central character to relate to, I personally do not feel invested in the game - or what unfolds. And what's in Legion, plot-wise, is quite appealing - taking London back from oppression... That's rad! But getting a bunch of randos, with no character, hit and miss voice acting, it just doesn't do it for me. The appeal of exploring london, having visited before, can't even salvage this for me as there's nothing really to do in London. All the popular sites are patrolled by baddies so to get in you have to do the same stuff you do on every mission! Hack computers with your spider bot or use a cargo bot to get high enough to hack cameras. There's also a few bugs I encountered like floating baddies, and then there's the load times, like going from one room to the other, and on a ps5 that's not acceptable. All in all, if someone is a first time Watch Dogs player jumping into Legion, it's a good shout as there is still some fun to be had (hacking, initially, is interesting, but does get repetitive). For someone that has played the first 2, expecting a newer and better experience, this falls flat. The best way I can describe this is you know when you're really drunk and you want a good drunk meal, and you order fast food, and it satisfies your craving? Well we all know that fast-food isn't the best or healthiest meal, let alone the tastiest. Watch Dogs Legion is a drunken fast-food meal.

Fantastic New Entry in the Watch Dogs Series

Watch Dogs Legion is the newest, and in my opinion, best entry in the Watch Dogs series. If you've played any of these games before this is the same concept but ramped up for the new generation of consoles. Hacking, espionage, intrigue and a futuristic story all told in an open-world setting where you can 'hijack' any character and play as them! A wonderful game to kick off this new generation of consoles.

I haven't played this game yet much, but I did start it and run around England a bit. If you like open world games, this one is wild. Getting some GTA meets Deus Ex 2 vibes. Funny, yes. Oh, and a lot of the vehicles will auto-pilot you to your destination, which is like my new favorite gameplay mechanic since RDR2 (so chill). Anyway, if you're hurting for some proper ray-tracing titles on your new console, this one is probably worth a look, especially on sale. It is very pleasing visually and there's lots of mayhem to cause. I'm kinda excited to dig into this permadeath mode.

This is a well put together game with a fun, interesting story, with really solid shooting mechanics and variability in the open world. Some of it wears thin by the end of it with it being. But repetitive, but overall it's a really solid time.

It is really good. Different that part 1 & 2. I dont understand why people talk negative about it. It is definitely Watch Dogs. They must not have really liked these in the first place. I like all 3, watch dogs is awesome! It needs more side missions. I bought some premium operatives, they make it better, like Mina. You can play as Aiden Pierce and Wrench in the DLC, or buy them before too. The graphics look great on PS5 too. The story is awesome.
